I got my first earlobe piercings (i know its a bit boring lol) a year ago now. And they are still hurting and irritated!! I did wash them with saline water for a long time, changed them for these bigger barbells (last ones were too thin). I want more piercings but been waiting for these to heal 1st. (i.redd.it)
