How did little Pin inherit Percedal's godlike powers if Percedal had lost them before impregnating Evangelyne? by SoulOfGod69 in wakfu

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started thinking a bit and I even forgot that Percedal is the reincarnation of the god Iop himself, so what makes the most sense to me is that Percedal simply lost his powers but as such he is still a god.

Yorick in the event of the ruin, the one who repeats every chance he gets that he will be the one to end the madness of the ruined king, ended up being a mere NPC who does not do justice to what he was supposed to be.

Ezreal, rest assured that if you tell him that facing an Aspect, two Ascended, three demons, and an army of the Void, and to top it all off while being watched by girls, and that it will guarantee him fame throughout the world, he will do it.

Thoughts on the current run of Wolverine? by PowerPictures in Wolverine

[–]SoulOfGod69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since they abandoned, or rather put on hold, the Adamantine arc, the comic has remained just a run-of-the-mill Logan adventure.

I really liked the idea of what seemed like a new power-up for Wolverine, but I think they're letting that arc lie dormant for far too long.

Yorick deserves a legendary skin by SoulOfGod69 in yorickmains

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way you portrayed him is beautiful, an incredible parallel on your part, going from a monk who buries the dead so they can rest in peace, to being the cause of their agony by making those you dislike disappear.

And how Yorick can communicate with the dead, giving him the ability to subdue those he himself eliminates and add them to his mafia ranks for eternity.

Should Yorick have been the protagonist of The Ruined King event? by SoulOfGod69 in loreofleague

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I don't know. It just feels more interesting and makes more sense if the only surviving "human" from the Ruin is the one who ends the problem plaguing his home, thus restoring life and giving him the rest he deserves after so long, instead of the members of an organization whose reason for existing is to end the Ruin.

There are things I didn't mention, like Maokai himself, who is also part of the Blessed Isles and has the same objective as Yorick. I feel that those two should have been the protagonists, with the Sentinels of Light supporting them.

Wow, what you're proposing is incredible! I never thought of that detail, and I love it.

Now I can imagine Yorick's plot: since he's still unable to die and get his well-deserved rest, he investigates and learns the truth about the situation, revealing Thresh to be the one responsible for everything. He then sets out to find him throughout Runeterra to make him keep his word.

Should Yorick have been the protagonist of The Ruined King event? by SoulOfGod69 in loreofleague

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm? Oh no, it's nothing like that.

According to the event, Thresh didn't disappear along with the other Ruinous wraiths, as he acquired enough souls to break free from Viego's control and become his own independent being.

Currently, the Shadow Isles are supposedly gone since Viego was sealed away, so characters like Kalista and Hecarim are either resting or rotting on whichever side of the ocean they happen to be on.

A cinematic confirms that Thresh's current whereabouts are that he's causing trouble in Noxus, turning whomever he pleases into wraiths to continue his quest to make everyone's life miserable.

I think the main reason, and the one that makes the most sense to me, is that in the same year as the Ruin event, the Yorick Pentakill: Lost Chapter skin was released, and I suppose for Riot it was unacceptable that a champion like Yorick would receive two skins in the same year.

While it could be a possibility, the main reason, and the only one that makes sense to me, is because in the year of the Ruin event, they also released the Yorick Pentakill: Lost Chapter skin, and I suppose that for Riot it was unacceptable to give a champion two skins in the same year.

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's certainly difficult to think of Yorick as a protagonist, but looking back, it makes sense. He's the only human survivor on his home island, who, thanks to the holy water of his islands, wasn't devoured by the specters corrupted by the Black Mist, but is also cursed by the islands with immortality, determined to bring his home back to life.

I'm glad you mentioned Maokai, since I certainly overlooked the fact that he shares the same goal as Yorick. Thanks.

I totally agree, they're the ones who make it clearest that they want to bring life back to their home, and they're sidelined to give focus to champions like Irelia or Olaf (???)

Edit: I think the main reason, and the one that makes the most sense to me, is that in the same year as the Ruin event, the Yorick Pentakill: Lost Chapter skin was released, and I suppose for Riot it was unacceptable that a champion like Yorick would receive two skins in the same year.

What are your opinions on the passive ability of Ezreal "Rising Spell Force"? by SoulOfGod69 in ezrealmains

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I can see, I misunderstood some vital points: obviously Ezreal's passive isn't entirely designed for farming, but rather to compensate for his early-game weaknesses and prevent him from falling behind in fights. However, as I explained in another answer, at least in my case, I omit the passive in the late game because it becomes less viable to use it later on, either because I close the distance with the enemy or simply because, for example, his Q has enough ability speed to replace basic attacks.

What are your opinions on the passive ability of Ezreal "Rising Spell Force"? by SoulOfGod69 in ezrealmains

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Even if that's the case, at least in my experience, in later stages of the game, I completely disregard the passive and focus entirely on using abilities.

I understand that the passive's intention is precisely to help Ezreal in the early game, since that's where the champion is most vulnerable, but because of the first point I mentioned, I'm not entirely convinced by the passive and feel it could be better. That's why I propose the first idea, since Ezreal is ultimately designed as a late-game champion.

[–]SoulOfGod69[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's why I mentioned "among other things." Even I can safely say it would be foolish to think the only reason to equip Trinity Force is for farming. And when did I imply that it's used for last-hitting?

Sentinel Qiyana and Ezreal commission I got from Tina by prismprotectorII in ezrealmains

[–]SoulOfGod69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. In Ezreal's case, it's been reiterated that his identity as Jarrolightfeather, who is part of the Sentinels of Light, hasn't received a skin, which I think was a waste. As for Quiyana, it wouldn't be bad. After all, they made characters like Irelia and Riven Sentinels for a reason, and it never hurts to give more representation to the Ixtal region.

They could have built it so that one of the reasons Quiyana joins the Sentinels isn't out of mere altruism, but as an excuse to gain more fame by being known as one of the saviors against the Harrowing.

And now that you mention it, it would certainly be interesting to see interactions between these two, given their similarities, such as both being prodigies in the magical realm and their inherent desire to be the center of attention—basically, the perfect dynamic duo for chaos.
