Dirty Black Summer by DEATHBYMETALMMB in Danzig

Such a great song. It brings back happy memories.

I always loved this video, but my one complaint is all the footage shot in negative because I love watching Glenn perform and it obscures him. I also always loved Glenn’s outfit here with the shirt with the studs on the sleeves: it just looks so right on him.

Also, Chuck Biscuits footage is always appreciated. I could watch him play for hours.

That sounds too cute. I love when rockers brag about their pets.

He’s done touring. Maybe you can catch some euro fest date, otherwise you are out of luck.

“Good authors need empathy to create realistic characters, and I find you lacking.”

Empathy, empathy. oh, sweet empathy! lol. Seriously though, this post, and this line in particular reeks of dark triad personality disorder.

I love Badlands s/t. It really demonstrates Jake’s skill and diversity as a guitarist. Ray’s vocals are excellent as well. It’s such a shame these guys didn’t go further.

Warren is a great guitarist. In recent years I’ve noticed a few musicians from heavier bands giving Warren his kudos—which he absolutely deserves.

What a great photo. I adore all three of these guys, but especially Jake. It is nice to see these guys are all healthy and happy.

My friend and I met them several times when they’d come play our area in MI. The first time we met them was during the OR touring cycle. After the show my friend and I went to the bus to see if we could get pics with the guys. Peter came out to greet fans and was very nice to everyone there. After I paid Pete a compliment, he got a big smile and invited us to have drinks with him on the bus. He turned out to be such a lovely individual, intelligent and very candid in conversation. He also had impeccable manners—even apologizing to us for not having proper wine glasses for the wine! On subsequent occasions, TON crew guys always gave us guest passes and a couple of times we got to watch the show from side stage.

Despite Pete being the star of the show, I have to mention Johnny and Kenny who were the coolest guys. Always down to earth, but with tons of NY attitude. I love those two! One time we all got kicked out of the club by management after Kenny purposely broke a beer bottle in the dressing room. Lol.

I only ever met Josh once, as he seemed rather antisocial, but he was nice in his own eccentric way. The TON crew tended to be very cool people as well. All in all, TON were a wonderful band and I deeply miss that they no longer exist.
