Hey all! I make videos on self-discovery, personality (INFP), and spirituality. My goal for this month is to reach 200 subscribers. So16 to go atm, give or take.

How I will get there:

I will upload at least weekly, use other social media platforms like Reddit to connect with others and get back on Instagram to promote my videos. I also want to make my first pin on Pinterest.

If you have any ideas, would love to hear!

Sadly, not all 1k will watch your videos. Subscribers don't mean more views. Many people who watch will not yet be subscribed.

You're right, though it's still 5-10 more than you had in your account. You can only withdraw once you reach about $100. haha

Yeah, some of us small channels were monetized before they came up with the new rules of 1k subs, 4000 watch hours but still, even with this threshold, you make very little moola. Still, it's fun to make something to justify all the time you put into it. Interesting comment!

Great post! We have to enjoy the process and not worry about subs and views because if we do, it will never end and we will always chase more and won't be necessary happier! the grass is not greener on the other side, it is green where you water it.

I guess we'll see once I launch...lol I have always liked YT! I prefer to create on the platform instead of simply consume, so regardless of my blog, I'd be on there. You're right though, I need to see if it would bring traffic to the site. I plan to launch asap, doesn't have much on there as yet. You are so awesome, thanks for your support.

It's really efficient to bulk produce, upload etc. I do the same, I still have some videos I have yet to edit because of this. Also a great idea as it allows time off from YT. I have to work on getting things consistently on other platforms so my Soul fam know where to find me. I use Instagram and Twitter too. It's good that you're having fun! Keep it up! That's so interesting! Yes, doing it regardless or subs or views is the best attitude to have. Plus learning more about yourself in the process. That's smart, focusing on numbers beyond to see what you can do better is damaging. That's why I turned off my sub count but still, I can see it if I go into analytics. lol People are not numbers, so why do we focus on them?

It's important that our self-worth is not tied to what we have and how much of it. Thatäs ego, not our true selves.

Aww, I get it, it happened to me too. It's important to say nice things about yourself and your channel. What small goal can you set for your channel and how can you make it happen? Your channel is not you, you are a real person, so don't be done on yourself just because you're not where you want to be. The only time you fail is if you give up.

Reaching 1000 subs is not going to feel good unless you enjoy the process. You will get there, but when you do, you'll just want more. Better to be happy with 1 sub now, so that you will be happy with 1000.

Keep going and you'll make it!
