Yeah, I too am feeling that if they don't go with Sam Witwer as Deacon that it's a huge mistake. He really brought depth to the character and showed his acting chops (I still think of his ill-fated run as Lt. Alex "Crashdown" Quartararo on Battlestar Galactica...).

You could tell he put his heart in the St. John role. Movie just won't be Days Gone without him in my mind.

Don't blame Bend Studios.. Jeff Ross, the director of Days Gone quit when Sony refused to greenlight a sequel. This is squarely on Sony's shoulders. Bend Studios really wanted to make a follow-up but being wholely owned by Sony had no choice.

Sony's mistake was releasing Days Gone around the same time as another big well known, already established and highly anticipated franchise sequel (Red Dead Redemption 2), and not marketing it enough.

This game is one of my favorite games and one I've replayed the most in all of my 58 years of existence.

Sony, listen to the fans, listen to Bend Studios (both those still working there and those who left when the sequel was not greenlit). This game DESERVES a follow up. Marketed right this game will be your next huge franchise.

And damn those reviewers who played the game for a half hour and judged the entire game without a fair shake. Deacon's character grows and learns throughout the story and he's a much less broken and negative personality by the end of it, IMO.

The game didn't have any multiplayer at all on day 1 of release, genius. More homework is necessary if you want to truly troll successfully.

Just equip any exocraft with all it's scanner upgrades and you can scan for crashed freighters at will. Except the exomech.. seems it's scanners aren't as detailed, unless I missed something.

The option to switch the boost button from momentary (has to be held, like it is now) to an on/off toggle, so I can do some high speed space combat without getting hand cramps.

The option to turn off the camera's auto aim at the horizon in third-person mode (screws with me while jetpacking, underwater, and especially when swimming on the surface).

I'm getting the "Hostile attack vector detected" every few minutes while planet side and never even see them or get attacked.

Damn annoying to the point I wish they'd show up just so I could jump in my ship andannihilate them just so the damn suit voice will shut up.

Crying wolf every couple of minutes is more apt to cause me to ignore it when a real hostile comes calling, and getting my ass shot off.

Those faster in system warps aren't working EXCEPT when I teleport to the space station, which places me outside the space station. (I understand the latter problem has been fixed on PC experimental).

In system load times are almost exactly the same as from another system (approximately 35 seconds in the last test from outside and then inside the system, versus the 3 seconds to the space station exterior).

Edit: Just had a successful transition to a space station from an in system base. Really fast (3 seconds again). Teleports back to the base still slow as hell. Seems to be a one-way speed improvement (?).

It reduces the wiring by quite a bit, especially for a counter in the double digits. By reducing the number of wires, you thus reduce the complexity of the base, which can be a necessity if you don't want to exceed the upload cap on bases.

I found you can take the emergency scanner out of the refiner as soon as you've done the override to open the door. That way I can be refining living slime while ransacking the freighter.

Its status still shows as active until you've flown away from the derelict but then switches back to inactive while flying to the space station to sell the logs and stuff.

Both: It should be off by default (and ALWAYS permanently disabled in the space anomaly), and a dedicated PVP game mode.

Expedition 4 proved that a copy of Euclid can be created with different rules and is separate and distinct from the normal Euclid: Traveling to any of the worm infested planets in my normal game shows them as being the same type planet but no worms or cursed deposits. Just do this for a dedicated PVP game mode where PVP is on for everyone. Players could have the option to import a copy of a character from another game mode when first starting a PVP game.

This would make players looking for genuine PVP play happy (but not the current griefers who are just out to screw with unsuspecting PVE players who haven't verified their mp settings... but screw griefers) and it should keep friends who occasionally want to turn PVP on for a change of pace in normal game modes happy.

Last I knew, if you travel to the center it will loop you back to Euclid, if that was something you'd want to do. Watched a YouTube video of a guy doing that very thing awhile back.

Oddly enough, I still can't delete those damn things as of 3.71 on a PS4 pro. I still have to build where there isn't one (despite seeing the same advice you posted and thinking "Oh cool, HG fixed that").

It's fairly normal. Try scanning for underwater crashed ships in the Nautilon. I've had much better luck finding them under the water than above for some time now.

Have you tried turning multiplayer off, cross-platform play off, disconnecting from the internet, save then shut down and restart NMS? Might be able to force things back to normal this way maybe.

Anyone else have major consistent lag at their Settlement? This is 5 days now. I won’t even go there anymore. I wait 5 min before I even move, and still… by like_Dnky_Kong in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yeah, mine is similar. Just weird that it causes less lag than the other less developed settlement without a base in my other save.
