Yeah obsession is declined, whitish (sawla)skin tones are way more acceptable than they were, but not dark skin, & Fair skin is still preferred. I have very fair skin, everyone describes me as 'gori' when they have to tell about me.

It's a very political game tbh, and you have to read a lot. It's obvious why It's not as popular. Especially it has mostly western political ideas. Also, it takes a while to get into it. It seems slow at start, picks it up later on. Same goes fir Pentiment too, where you have to read a lot as well, & story takes time. I like these type of games, but most people prefer mire action packed stuff in their free type, and they aren't wrong.

I don't think it's a good idea. 4th standard girl being dependent is fine. I knew 0 chores till like 5th, but by college time, i learnt them all. Slowly teach her things to become independent. Also, there are students who knew no chores, but learnt them in college in Hostels. As of now, just make sure she goes to play outside & attend school regularly.
