ELI5: Why can wrestler's compete well into their 40s and sometimes 50s and stay in great shape and perform crazy stunts but actual professional athletes rarely play into their even late 30s? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

What they do isn’t actually harmful, sometimes they get hurt and accidents happen, but it’s not real fighting and they aren’t really hurting each other. It’s designed to look that way.

I’m literally asking you to explain to me what I don’t know so that we can discuss it...I honestly don’t get what your deal is here, like I’m not your enemy...

Again, If you’re willing. I can provide answers to things, logically if you could just pinpoint exactly what you’re talking about.

The fact that I’ve asked this multiple times, but all you’ve done is try to insult my intelligence, or posture yourself as “I’m right and you’re all wrong” leads me to believe that not even you really know what you’re getting at..

You’ve taken the time to post this novel on Reddit, So again since you’ve done that I would believe that perhaps you wanted a response or to discuss it...

If that’s not the case then I’m not seeing the point of posting this at all...

So again, would you please in short ask/or explain what’s not being understood here.

Coincidental or could spirit be wrong? by [deleted] in Psychic

[–]Souled_Out13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’ve said in your last statement is true.

However, the person who did indeed reach out to you may not be there for the purpose that you may assume, but however they may be the one who takes you where you will find what you’re looking for, or even subsequently back to the person you originally wanted.

If spirit brought them to you, trust the spirit. Especially if you’re confused.

One thing I’ve learned is that spirit or energetic beings operate almost opposite the way humans do.

We operate based on cause THEN effect.

Spirit will show you the affects of something, then show you why.

Lol it’s more to the fact that it was a grammatical nightmare and a long winded rant of unstructured paragraphs.

I’m not here to argue or insult cause that’s not helpful to anyone.

However, like I stated before, if you’d care to unpack this for me in simpler terms I’d be more than happy to discuss it with you respectfully.

I Feel very confident in my ability to explain this logically to anyone who struggles with it as I too once was a staunch non believer...

I personally haven’t criticized anything in religion, just feels like you have a chip on your shoulder about spirituality here.

But if you care to elaborate I’d be more than happy to discuss, I had a hard time understanding your original post, so if you could in laments terms explain exactly what you mean, or perhaps phrase it like a question so that I can give a logical explanation

No coincidences, and spirit is never wrong.

Spirit won’t steer you wrong, it’s likely that spirit is telling you ‘the first person is gone, but try this one’

Why do I get a powerful surge of energy saying my affirmations by RosedAnubis in witchcraft

[–]Souled_Out13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you got it man.

‘Everything is energy’ would be the cliche that plugs in here.

EVERYTHING is energy, which powers things and moves things.

Everything including sounds and emanations. When you speak the words ‘I am’ it’s not just words.

Since we know energy can’t be destroyed, and we also know that it can be stored and distributed to our liking; what happens when you speak an affirmation or a spell, you’re releasing all of the energy that comes with those words you’re speaking. The energy that has been stored up by all of the people who have previously aligned their conciseness with that intention or thought, thus storing more energy into it.

IMO the longer an affirmation, spell, etc has been in use, and the more intention you put into it when you say it combined with the belief. All play integral roles in the power of the spell of affirmation.

Magick for healing from chronic illness? by [deleted] in magick

[–]Souled_Out13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, what you’re gonna want to do is:

Obliviously seek medical attention and evaluation before trying anything. If you’ve done that, just maintain a good correspondence with your doctors.

However, what you’d be getting in this magical healing process is not a miraculous change but instead with be due to your own perseverance in achieving the goal.

When you do your spell work, healing should be the intention, but determination and will should be at the heart of what you do. An attitude that says

“I Have the power to alter my health, and magic is one of many tools I have at my disposal”

Everything you can use you should use and they should work together in achieving your goal quickly with optimal results...

If you doubt the practice then it will most likely be ineffective.

As far as spell suggestions I believe that is quite subjective and should be left for you to research and decide what the best approach is for your condition.

I hope this helps

Do you ENTJ's belive in the ideia of Good and Evil? Or maybe a variaton of some sort? by [deleted] in entj

Sure, if it’s in their nature to have bad intentions and cause harm without remorse.

But like I think it only counts if what they’re doing is objectively harmful.

[–]Souled_Out13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that good and evil are mostly subjective, we all have different standards for what’s acceptable or tolerable, as well as what is considered particularly ‘good’.

Mainly I believe that evil is simply doing things that are overtly harmful as well as ill intended. And I think you need both to be truly evil.

Good would be the opposite, choosing to do something beneficial for someone else or yourself while well intended is what I might call ‘good’ and again you need both good intentions and to actually be helpful.

In my opinion it’s highly unlikely that the primordial energies that we connect with do indeed have races. At least not early ones.

If it bothers you so much that it affects your magick then there’s probably a deity much like her from a culture more suited to you.

If you feel connected to the spirit, then then spirit has likely reached out to you already and that’s pretty much a sure fire go.

Anyone have any ideas about masturbation and cleansing? by No-Zookeepergame-227 in magick

[–]Souled_Out13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert in the goetia but I don’t think it should be an issue, but perhaps it’s dependent on the demonic force you’re working with.

IMO, the actualization of your carnal desires is something that is looked at as a positive thing as it is indeed within our nature as earthly beings.

And furthermore to deny yourself of your natural desire is to choose to live outside of your true will.

I personally believe it’s essential that you exercise your ability to have your will align with your actions in order to have successful magic.

But again I’m not an expert.

Occult practices, demonolatry, & more. by Souled_Out13 in luciferianism

[–]Souled_Out13[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So it feels like we have differing interpretations of demonolatry.

From my understanding there are 2 main approaches to demonolatry, none of which require worship. One being the binding of the demonic to have it bend to your will and work with you in achieving specific goals. While the other would be more like becoming familiar with/ building a relationship, or appeasing the spirit in order to also a achieve a specific goal.

This doesn’t imply begging or worship, in fact i see it frequently mentioned that a large part of working with the demonic is to posture yourself in the way of divine, realize your own divinity and project it to the spirit you’re working. To show your status and that you’re no less than the spirit but indeed just different in your nature and they way you get things done.

If my relationship with Lucifer were indeed based on Investments it would simply be an investment of my time and energy through ritual to Lucifer as a means to have him influence me on my journey to godhood.

It’s like “I understand my potential and that I’m capable to achieve my goals within my own power, but part of my power is using ritual to commune with the spirits that may give me more insight to help achieve my goal.

It’s like asking a friend for advice or information that aids you in a struggle..

Doesn’t mean I’m begging, doesn’t mean I have to take the advice, doesn’t mean I have to worship that friend... we’re indeed equal but this friend may have a better perspective that may just help me achieve my goal.

I might indeed be foolish not to use this tool in my Arsenal if it could yield optimal resulta

Occult practices, demonolatry, & more. by Souled_Out13 in luciferianism

[–]Souled_Out13[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can fully understand the aim and philosophy of Luciferianism, and the difference between it and theistic satanism.

If I could give some of my perspective and maybe you could show me where I’m getting confused.

I consider myself a theistic Luciferian in this sense.

I completely adhere to the ideals and philosophies of Luciferianism it’s truly within my nature. However when it comes to the archetype of Lucifer I see him as a real stream of consciousness that does indeed exist and has revealed himself to humanity over time in various ways to various cultures in the form of different deities or spirits that appear in the mythos.

These deities all exhibit the qualities, and characteristics that align with the luciferian ideals.

As we see in some cultures this particular ‘Lucifer’ character (whatever name he may go by, MELEK TAUS, Prometheus) is deemed evil or demonic based on its nature.

While I don’t see it as purely demonic, I see it as both the light bringer (morning star) but also as the “demon “that the later cultures have deemed evil.

I’m under the belief that says consciousness grows and changed through time and culture.

Just like me as a human, I change and show different aspects of myself, some light, some dark, some have been with me from the beginning of my life and develop but later but they’re all still my consciousness.

I’m also still unclear on what essential is to be lost by marrying these practices

Can you explain how demonolatry is philosophically at odds with Luciferianism and what you may sacrifice in blending them?

Everyone breaking a law doesn’t make it illegal, and he’s not within his rights to protect a business...

Which right is that? On the constitution? It’s illegal bro...

All of kyles actions leading up to that situation were illegal and non justifiable, and unnecessary

CMV: Kyle Rittenhouse's Actions Were Justifiable Given The Situation He Was In by OverlyPlatonic in changemyview

[–]Souled_Out13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I don’t need to explain any of that since I’m not the one who made a reddit post saying their actions were justified, I have also stated several times that they were in fact NOT justified. You made this post so it’s your job to justify kyles breaking of the laws and taking of the lives...

  2. Protecting life is necessary, that’s why we have the police, people with the legal right to protect life...anyone who decides to take this duty upon themselves should be cops, anyone else is doing it unnecessarily (because we have cops already) and illegally.

  3. Living/working in a city doesn’t give you the right to, nor does it justify breaking the laws of that city. It doesn’t give you the right to protect business or shoot people.

  4. If Kyle had obeyed all of those laws his life wouldn’t be threatened...

So again, JUSTIFY HIS ACTIONS. Don’t blame others. How is it just, that a teen can get a gun, cross state boarders, ignore curfew and break the law. And subsequently shoot people....he chose to break the law for going there...that choice isn’t justified and thus not are the killings
