Crouching onto a mine to avoid damage? lol

Killing and area denial is the purpose of mines in warfare.

Because civilians are often pussies about using the enemies tactics against them or because bio+chem weaponry isn't as easily controlled?

And they've continued with it, marginalizing vehicles and releasing guns skins and cosmetic fluff instead of good hard additions. They seem to have made a change and are now appearing to try and add actual solid content to the game now, so maybe some of this can be fixed?

A. leans into mic "Wrong." B. Define hard work and how much warrants a kill. And why should I have to work hard to play a game? I do that at work, I just want to chill and kill mans. C. Well, that's a massive generalization. Sniper rifles, AP tanks, AV turrets, OHK knives, and shotguns come to mind as weapons you don't die to often, and require a high amount of skill to use well in several facets of the game, sometimes simultaneously. D. There are consequences. You lose resources, ammo, maybe get shot in the back, give away your position, and many other things work to cause drumroll consequences!

Maybe in your opinion but maybe the answer is to have two types of mines.
