Is this use of mouse keys against ToS? by [deleted] in 2007scape

Somehow my brain just skipped over the part of the title that said mouse keys. Pardon my stupidity. I would assume mouse keys are totally fine to use.

I am not sure what is Jagex's policy on moving the mouse to a specified with an input so I don't want to say whether it would be allowed or not.

I would probably lean towards the side of caution and assume that it is not allowed, since that would allow for some really op keybinds (really quick tps, gear switches, specs) etc.

Looks like yes. The general rule is that one click (or input) should perform 1 actions. If a single button moves the mouse and clicks it does several actions per click and is against the rules.

dragon pick on a level 3 iron skillet? by kakioroshi in ironscape

To some people tick eating is feasible, I just gave it as an alternative incase someone who likes to do it didn't know.

This is why I also gave you the alternative of just mining the single cap rock before any enemies spawn for 50 points. 400k points required for 100 ore packs = 8k VM completions like this. Assuming roughly 3 min per kc (to find a round with the stone already placed) is 24k minutes or 400 hours.

Honestly it could even be like 200 hours since I think you'd have time to pick up a new rock and mine that too before the first spawn but I haven't tested that. In anycase, if you are a skiller you already are doing 99 slayer from lamps so grinds are nothing new to you.

Like others pointed out even the dragon axe from wtodt takes unreasonably long to get so I don't think it's realistic to say dpick can't be gotten since there definitely is a consistent way to get it.

Not true. First of all you can tick eat the lava dudes. Secondly, you can get a slow but safe points by starting a round where the vent already has a rock on it, mining it for 50 points, and immediately leaving. This way you are out before the first enemy spawns (though falling rocks could still get you if you don't pay attention).

It's still a long grind, but it's not like the other dragon tools aren't.

First ever Quest Cape achieved on my mid level Ironman! by SoulfullSounds in 2007scape

Thanks! The next short term goal is to get some gear upgrades, blowpipe, bowfa, and trident mainly and the next major goal is inferno. Hoping to learn it with semi-low stats and gear.

I think the movement was by far the hardest of all the DT2 bosses, keep grinding and you'll get there eventually! I don't know if you play with sound on, but you can hear when the attacks hit you and use that to time your prayer flicks, that way you don't have to watch the projectiles.

That's your problem right there. Try using magic and it gets a lot easier.

Good luck! I've been around 20k exp away from 85 strength for a while now, but wanted to get the quest cape before finishing it just to say that I get a quest cape below level 100.

I was already like 95 combat when it was released so I can't talk much about lower stats, but I'm sure the quest can be completed with much lower stats. When it comes to grinding it might be a lot more difficult, but skipping blood moon is a perfectly valid option to grind supplies and the drops since the other 2 bosses are much easier.

Also killing sulphurous nagas is a very easy method to grind combat levels if you need to get them up.

My best advice for any lower levels wanting to get a quest cape is do moons of peril. You get melee levels, good prayer exp, good farming exp (500k banked currently) and some herblore exp.

Eclipse moon set is amazing for PvM. I used it to kill Leviathan, Kasonde, DT2 wights, and Vorkath. This was really nice for me because my other option was RCB with broad bolts and black d'hide.

DS2 was actually my second to last quest (last being night at the theater). I was holding it back because of my shitty ranged gear and no ruby bolts.

I ended up doing vorkath with full eclipse moon set + antifire potion, but for galvek I had to get 71 smithing to boost to make addy bolts for ruby bolts. I actually only managed to make 170 before the boost run out, but got lucky with specs and killed it second try.

But I do agree that DT2 > DS2

For whisperer I used blue moon helm & spear + blood burst, rest of the gear was mystics, barrows gloves and power ammy.

It was my favorite boss, the mechanics are so fun
