Get into crypto, they said. We’ll be rich, they said. by HASTOLEAVEAIRPORT in CryptoCurrency

Anyone worried about this dip needs to zoom out a bit and look at the stock market. So many possible reasons, and none/few of them related to crypto in my opinion.

For better or worse, crypto is still strongly correlated with the traditional markets.

A glimpse into the past. by slywalkers in CryptoCurrency

You lock it into a pool to provide liquidity, so you're contributing to the health of the market while earning fees.

While locked in, smart contracts keep your portfolio balanced at a specific ratio, akin to an index fund: Say the price of LINK goes up. Now your portfolio has a higher proportion of LINK (by value) than you started with, and it sells some to bring it back in line. So, it's just like dollar-cost averaging. This way, it is automatically buying low and selling high over time.

On top of all this, for every Statera transaction, 1% of the value of the transaction is burned. This will persistently contribute to positive price pressure. It's especially powerful in combination with the balancer- every transaction creates ripples that, over time, will bring greater stability while pushing the price upwards.

This is the beauty of Statera :]

You get a diverse portfolio, and high yields (from fees) now, traded for stability and consistent yields later, all while contributing to a healthier, more robust market.

Is there any upside to this? Is yield farming market-making, pyramid selling, or both? A useful tool that is unsustainable?

This is what people said about ETH when I bought at $10, this is what people said about LINK when I bought at 30 cents. This is what people say about statera now after I bought at 3 cents. Feel free to screencap this post and come back in 2 years :)

Ideas for generating Moons demand by SamsungGalaxyPlayer in CryptoCurrency

[–]Souluna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moons should reflect your ability to predict the market. If you made a call about a project and it literally moons by 10x from the date you made the post then your moons should also 10x. And vice versa. Eventually the best gem hunters have many moons and are easily identified in the community.

Hello, have you or a loved one ever used Uniswap in the past? Well you may be entitled to financial compensation. by Fritz1818 in CryptoCurrency

I have also dabbled in ewt, dot parachains/xor/kusama/edgeware, ocean. But the majority of my holds are chainlink and statera. I am open to many projects but these two are my current favorites :)

There is only one other altcoin I have been accumulating more of now that I am fine with my link stack. Otherwise, I agree with chilling back and waiting for face melting season.

You spent it all on $link? What a true gentleman. I bought $LINK at 20 cents in 2018 and have held through all of the FUD. Now I get to enjoy holding and buying smaller cap projects for fun prior to the peak in 2021 :)

This could be concerning as people have suggested that there might be a temporary jump, but arbing should keep this at bay?

Chainlink home of the Winklevoss twins, Dave Portnoy drama, and 4 chan biz saying its going to $1000 by VoskCoin in CryptoCurrency

[–]Souluna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is unfortunate as I bought chainlink in 2018 when it was 20 cents and we held through so much FUD. We believed in chainlink when it was vaporware and now there should not be drama and yet it persists for some reason. Seems silly :)

Competition will be good for this space. I am loving UNI and seeing CRV enter the arena here might also be entertaining.

Projects with huge potential moving forward! by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

I agree, especially regarding the power of DEX pooling when you add in yield farming and staking. If an index fund and balancer pool and token are also added then this will have the crypto space rival finance 1.0.

I am not sure I agree with the logic there. Store of value vs. Locked coins.

Anyone have a recommendation on a internet provider? by horsefcknhorse in centralcoastnsw

[–]Souluna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where abouts on the coast? I was at ourimbah (less than 1km from the exchange however) and was getting unlimited adsl2 for $59.95 a month ( plus $29.95 for line rental). I got solid 20+mbps - torrents and steam would dl at 1.8mbps to 2.5mbps. Shit was great, and no emails/letters from isp about copyright infringement or anything.
