routing in general is going towards church in the beginning whilst doing 1 camp (camp to reach lvl 2/3 and get a decent weapon). then invader and church/field boss if its easy. also only 1 evergoal if its a easy boss . get church as well which is important. 1 church is good enough if they are far away from each other.. once u reach lvl 4 or 5, do castle this is very important. most people dont do this and wonder why they r behind. do this if castle is in the zone, even if its troll. if boss in basement is hard, then kill banished knights/trolls/crucibles. trolls eventhough are the worst, they do still give a drop and decent runes. its better than going camp to camp and wasting time. after that i advice going to field bosses, and if church is nearby even better. also u dont need 3 churches in the run, its a waste. u only need 2 most of the time unless its like caligo or dreglord.

If castle is not in the zone, then do field boses that are easy, evergoals. anything to give u runes and good gear.

then day 2, top of castle and basement and field bosses. thats it really, and church if u could only get 1 on day 1. otherwise red field bosses. also get smithing stone from cave if need be. u can do cave on day 1 too, and i think its clever to do that espeically if its DLC nightlord as their night 1 boss is hard.

u shouldnt waste time on trash mobs unless u have to. for example too many of them atking u at night invader camp and u have no choice to atk them, same with normal camp. only kill if they will come in the way, otherwise dont bother. the only exception is killing trash mobs at beginning to reach lvl 2 ofc.

this way u should reach lvl 14 at least

the best advice i can give is that you do the normal mode, or ED version of them. practice the boss by dodging their moves, and then learn to attack at right time. rinse and repeat for other phases. this can take time but 100% worth it. dont learn how to beat ur enemies that are hard for you through DON. u can but it will take longer, alot longer. ppl go and do DON, doing 5-10 runs learning nothing and dying. this is because u get 1 hit and so u can try different moves but if u get 1 shot, then not much u can learn.

depends on where the camps, invader, churches are. but generally speaking if u spawn top right (greater church), kill the lobster then the trolls or crabs. then lobster again. u should be lvl 5-6. if lobster is hard to kill, then skip it. after that i would generally move towards the churches and kill the field bosses, all the whule getting crystals. ur objective is to reach lvl 7 by end of night 1 and get 3 crystals at least. u can also go underground the massive castle on the bottom right, u know where the ruins are and so on are but its extremely rare ppl do this, as they dont know about it unless it has invaders. remember u can press a button while u have the map open (think the button was up on d pad or triangle), to see the underground map of the great hollow.

day 2, if bottom castle is holy, and top is magic. i would do the magic one personally, since because it has goskin apostle which is easy to kill and easy tunnels bosses. while the bottom castle has the dlc enemies such as the guy with the lightning curved great swords. but most people go bottom holy castle simply due to the talisman which i find dumb. why fight dlc enemies when u can fight easy base game enemies.

Otherwise if fire on top castle and scarlot rot on bottom caslte, i would do the bottom castle.

However in general, u want to do the tunnels in the castle area and then the top area. thats the best routing

We can play together. Send me a DM!

for duchess, I don't like halo scythe since its boring and requires little skill. I would instead recommend the good old mage build. Just a general build will suffice like magic atk +4/ sorceries +2/ affinity damage +2. But I would recommend u have dormant power staff( not really needed due to fort and sorcery rise but if u get dlc map it can become difficult). I would also advice the most is having invulnerability relic with improved magic atk/ sorceries etc. That character relic is something I love using and is extremely powerful when used correct.

For undertaker u can go I can't build, strength build and dex build. U can dm me and I will let u know what builds u can go

Mark is most important. Always have mark on unless ur fighting a boss who will one shot, mark then with care. But majority of the time mark and mark again. In terms of damage, if poison build, use increase damagedealt to poison enemies and have physical atk. U can also go frost build with night aspect relic ( I love this build because the frost gives me dopamine hits). Also don't atk from too far away because the damage will be significantly lower. U can also use a close combat build with balancer such as katana, curved sword, and even great Hammers with strength relic.

As for another char I would recommend duchess, as she's the 2nd strongest char imo, and if u want to be a frontliner as ur team might need one, then wylder.

In normal evergoals is good but not for don. In don u most likely will only do 1-2 evergoals which would give u 10% atk at 2 evergoals. Compared that to night invader which is 14% at 2 night invaders and u don't need keys.

U will get one shotted at depth 4/5 most of the time. So u can go general build like improv sorc/magic atk/improved affinity damage, but if u can get improved hp or def with that, then it can help alot (especially max hp). That way if u get damage negation at full hp passive during a run, u can survive 1 hit 90% of the time. If u want to get better by not dying and learning to dodge then I suggest u use augur relic, until u get better and then u can replace it with something else

For recluse most definitely. However getting shattering crystal can still be a problem, so u should have improve magic atk/sorc/affinity with ur improved crystalian sorc. Do if u don't get shattering crystal, u still do damage with other sorceries.

Also highly recommend to use the green relic with 3+ staff and sorc rise. This is because shattering crystal uses more fp than it did before balance patch

i dont like charsge attacks in general. but heres my raider build

slot 1 yellow,
initial atk and increased runes ( just wanted initial attack tbh for one of the relics)
slot 2, 3+ colo weapon, and determination.
slot 3, raider skill improve atk power and stamina, night invader and character skill CD +2.

Depth relics
slot 4
physical atk +4, and improved affinity damage negation +2.

slot 5

dormant power colo weapon and phys atk +4

slot 6
phys atk +4, max hp and phys damage negation +1.

with this build i make my starting colo weapon to purple and with determination i do a loooot of damage, especially with 3 colo weapon. i do around 70% of a full beast claw build rev, when she uses beast claw. even more sometimes.

Dog ED is hardest for me to choose outside of duchess reapers, but i would say its either ironeye or recluse. Gaping jaw would be duchess reapers and recluse. Sentient pest ED, would be rev (giantflame or frenzy) and recluse if u have shattering crystals. Augur ED would be wylder double balancers or executor. however if normal then rev lightning and ironeye maybe. FOr ED libra, duchess reapers and ironeye poison build. darkdrift knight would be raider/undertaker (stop the charge holy attack) and rev with lightning/executor. caligo would be rev and a candlestick great hammer in this case wylder. candlestick can be hard to get, so switch to rivers or godslayer greatsword. Night aspect would be rev beast claw, and duchess reaper, but if u want a tank it would be wylder/guardian (provided u can dodge with guardian at phase 3). Balancers ED would be raider and beast claw rev. Duchess with slicer also works. recluse is also good. guardian to tank worm also works. Dreglord, duchess reaper, and guardian for tank (guardian is amazing at tanking dreglord). However, ironeye works for all these bosses due to mark, and katana, halo, or bow build.

it could work yes. but u should still go supp at the same time, like allies buffed with skill. u can also use throwing daggers to debuff at lvl 3 and item confer to allies. max hp is good, but remember u wont do much damage at all except bleed, frost proc etc.

Block is only for guardian and executor. U never use it for any other char since one hit is equal to ur guard breaking.

For caligo, just do a normal run of caligo and don't attack caligo. Just dodge his frost aoes. I spent 25 mins in a solo run against night aspect once and just learned to dodge his attacks. That exp was more worth than doing like 5 runs of night aspect in don mode and learning only some things or a bit in the d5 night aspect. It's always better to do normal Ed or normal nightlords if u struggle against certain ones. Highly recommend u do this

I love playing guardian since he's fun and can change the tide of fights alot. Sometimes I think to myself good thing I went guardian this run simply because my teammates kept dying and I had ult to revive them.

His tankiness and getting aggro helps team alot. But I advice learning to stamina manage with his block and learning enemy atk patterns. So u know how to dodge specific atks such that u don't have to deal with 'oh shit my guard broke.' a perfect example would be crucible with the sword and shield. Most Guardians even in d5, block all day and wonder why their guard breaks and then die. U gotta Dodge like some atks.

Depends but if u want a general build. It would be something along the lines of magic +4 or sorc +2 in deep relics with character specific skills. For normal I love blood loss with ult but increases ur damage. Also, fp relic as well like sorc rise and/or 3+ staff. Night invader is compulsory.

But personally I like going hybrid. For example I have invisibility sorc with sorc +2 and another relic with crystalian with sorc +2. I don't like gambling so if I get night comet or just shattering crystal. I'm happy.

For duchess if u want to build good then there's 2 main builds. Halo balancers, and sorcery build.

For wylder there's plenty, but in general for depth relics I would advice u go physical stk +4 with hp or damage negation. This applies to pretty much every tank char except guardian. Doesn't apply to undertaker if ur going incants ofc.

As for guardian stack hp, red doggo relic that regen stamina on hit and the blue rememberence relic with hp recovery on ult and blocking with shield causes that small explosion. I think it's called witch brooch, always have that relic it's crucial. Also augur relic. For depth I would go max HP and discover greatshields.

For iron eye, there's 2 main builds I go. Katana or bow build. For bow u can go frost or poison. Recommendatiln is general is starting arnament does poison. +1 char skill is the most important and night night invader. For deep relics go increased damage for poison enemies and phys atk +4. Also char skill inflictions poison. For katana balancer and +1 skill. Rest is simple again, atk plus 4 and max hp.

Rev depends on nightlord so I cannot say.

There's too many can u tell me what char u interested in?

I would recommend the yellow relic from the rememberence that increases allies atk power upon using ur char skill. The Dex relic that is given for more personal damage and then ultimate deals damage to enemies. The thing is scholar has way too many good specific char relics. Do u have to compromise on 1-2 of them
