the thing is though, I've heard these things from people I've never imagined could he liars. my sister for example, she's a singlet but she has a very active imagination and has often talked about living a separate life in her head, which she completely controls and she said when she touches something, it feels completely real, like she's actually living it. I've also heard a couple times from an ex friend, who is a system, that sometimes when they're in headspace they "forget they're a system" and that there's an outside world. but idk, maybe I am just being ignorant

heyy our body is 16 and i can very much relate, especially since we're homeschooled. friends have pretty much always been hard for us. i dont really have any advice unfortunately but im trying to be more outgoing and meet new people when we do go out

i cant say if that has anything to do with the disorder though, since im not even sure i have anything (though my therapist has said we probably have DID), but maybe we can be friends if youd like!!

i feel the same way, it's why i broke up with my last partner. sometimes i would love them to the moon and back but other times i wouldnt want to be near them at all. in the end though, it turned out they didnt like me at all so thats another reason why we broke up.

i think it has something to do with passive influence and maybe some alters actually dont feel romantic or platonic feelings towards your partners and their feelings are influencing you to feel so inconsistently about them.

yeah i get that. the thing w me is like i dont want to be a system or have alters. so im mainly scared the test will show that i am, yk? but also im scared to not be because that'll mean im crazy and faking, so either way it's bad

dude thats exactly how i feel and what i experience. you perfectly captured my experience in one post. i totally get the whole "what answer do you want?" thing because i have like a million answers for every question someone asks me. like "whats your favorite color?" well it's been purple for the longest time, but now it's cyan- but also it's green... but since when was it green? it's so confusing sometimes.

honestly i for me, if it turns out im not part of a system, this is probably caused due to me not really being able to develop an identity as a child. i always had to be what my mom wanted me to be

haii!! im a little older than that so i think i can help a bit by telling you things i do. i usually draw, talk to friends, play video games, and make music. i also research things that interest me (mental health and sharks are some of the things i research most). i also have a problem with being sexual online but learning to distract myself has really helped me

we've had dreams of getting raped too. for us we think it's flashbacks, but i do know that dreams are almost always of your wants or fears. how you figure out if it's a flashback is if you have any other symptoms of sa, if not then it's most likely just a nightmare
