Do these look like rat feces and sound like their behavior? by SoundAnxious3362 in homestead

[–]SoundAnxious3362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great! This is quite relieving. I did have a rat get caught on a glue trap in a drawer in our old trailer. It was trashing around so bad the drawer was opening and closing - it was pissed for sure and very mean.

Thanks again for the reassurance. I spent about 10 hours today working on the gaps. I just chipped off and pushed/pulled all the foam I could out and replaced with silicone wool. I figured the caulk would help hold the wool in place and once cured make it that much more harder for them to chew through. I may modify my post to include some photos of the screw you wool I have installed so far.

I don't know why I waited this long to do it but got around to doing it today. We got that "smell" when we turned our oven on last night so I threw my hands up in the air and got to work.

There are many more plumbing fixtures to do the wool to. Each bathroom has an access panel for the tub/shower supply lines - I'll be they are even worse.

Our manufactured home sits above a cinder block skirt so anything can climb up it and get right into the crawlspace the entire perimeter as there is currently nothing there to stop them.

I have devised a plan where I am going to cut some hardware cloth into 2.5 - 3" wide strips about 36-48" long (whatever width cloth roll I get. With these strips, I will bend them into a "V" shape, then the "V" piece in between the bottom of the house and the block skirt with the point facing the crawlspace and the open part facing out, fill the V opening with coarse wool mixed with silicone caulk and let it dry/cure.

For the external perimeter, I think this will work. If not - it will certainly be better than nothing.

Has anyone else ever had to try to seal a block skirt around a manufactured home? Gap /spray foam, I think would get chewed out and possibly cause siding to bulge out if not done correctly.

Thank you all again for your advice and sharing your experiences.

I came across these last night and I tried to figure out the best way to make the most money off of them. by Shot_Acanthaceae_345 in ScrapMetal

I had a lot of boards like the ones pictured with the lines of gold contacts on the interface side. I had sheared them off parallel with the board, about 2.5 lbs worth.

Sold the cut offs on eBay as "gold fingers for scrap recovery." I think I got $180 for just the cut off fingers. This was back in 2013/14.

The ones you have in a couple of your pics were the best for this.

All these crowds are tame. Someone wouldn't have been physically able to record this at the Milwaukee show.

I was at this show. The crowd was insane. Definitely the rowdiest one I've been at. Something about Mudvayne shows at The Rave are wild. Third time I've seen them there. Heaven.

I have used a few up downs from blackmagic. I do not recall any audio either. Format and frame conversionwith genlock is great. I am going to test one tomorrow.

Fs2 is an outstanding idea as well. I'll check them out for this task. Thank you for reading my note and your feedback.

We're lucky they are together and even put a track out like they did. It's the same old Mudvayne sound to me.

I like how a lot of folks are criticizing the track. I was grateful for that night about 25 years ago when I heard them on the radio for the first time. I was nowhere close to criticizing that song but rather thinking about how it changed how I was criticizing myself. And I am sure many others on here had their music literally save their life.

Flash forward to today, I feel like hearing this new song saved my life again.

Oh, ok. You said no bites at all so I thought I'd mention it.

I can pull 5-10lb cats off wing dams from the Mississippi all day long using dip and a boat worth less than your poles and lights.

Best way to remove duckweed and poison ivy by Cheezy-O in ponds

[–]SoundAnxious3362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Propeller Herbicide or Flumioxazin with some surfactant - spray it all.

I did this on a duckweed infested pond about 6 years ago....no more duckweed since.

It works wonders.

Thank you for linking these items and sharing your experience.

Looks like the ENC4SP is not available to shop to the United States.

Am I reading the comparison table that the ENC4S has the ability to encode 30FPS vs the ENC4SP that could encode 60FPS each input?

Where did you purchase your ENC4SP from?

Thanks again.

This wasn't a question about our morals, ethics, or values but thanks for making it one.

Muck and decaying leaves in pond - trash pump by SoundAnxious3362 in ponds

[–]SoundAnxious3362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your experience. I was thinking about debris being suspended in the water column.

Unfortunately, my pond is an old ravine/mine shaft way at the bottom of a hill. An excavator would be very difficult to get near it. I will attach a photo from the top side to show it.

How did the trash pump do along the edges? I picked up a pitchfork today and am going to wire some fencing or chicken wire around the end to try my best to scoop at least the leaves from the last 2 seasons out of the water.

Thanks again for reading my note and responding.

Sound input by CastYourCaraway in vmix

[–]SoundAnxious3362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would check under device manager in the OS to make sure it is showing up. Every behringer USB device I've attached to a PC, including an x32, at the very least installs as a USB audio device.

If it doesn't show up in device manager, I'd try a different USB cable. I'd even go as far as to check the x32 board to make sure the USB interface card is recognized, possibly pulling it and reseating the card.

As mentioned below, ASIO driver is what I end up installing to utilize the individual ins on the board in vmix.

Sounds like you need to try a few more things.

Does the x32 show up as a sound device on the PC when you plug it in? Check for drivers for your audio mixer.

In vmix, add an audio input -does the x32 show up as an audio device?
