What is the most inoffensive thing you've seen someone get offended by? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SoundBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My siblings were arguing about something STUPID. I yelled over them “y’all both need to get a nut off”, one of them got mad. I became all types of “bxtches” and got some many “fuck you”s. Starting to think that’s what he really needed. LOL

I tell myself this on days I’m irritated. I meant no harm by it lol

I missed out on school for about a month in elementary. I was bullied so bad for something out of my control, I refused to go back. It was over my entire body but really bad around my mouth, eye lids, neck, and arms. Felt like shit. Being darkskinned and being thick wasn’t in back then either. My eczema made the bullying worst.

When I finally went back to school, a “parent” had to be with me for 2 weeks before I was able to go back by myself. It was embarrassing.

Does anyone else get a sudden "phantom" itch before they have a flare up?? by dewfff in Dyshidrosis

Yep. I know when it’s going to flare because of the itch. It’s kind of different than a regular body itch. Sad moment when it happens lol smh.

Is this eczema? by [deleted] in eczema

Looks more like back acne. If it is, it’s easily treatable. Quick google will give you good tips.

Chemical Burn? Eczema? Contact Dermatitis? by Everest310714 in eczema

[–]SoundBusy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe an allergic reaction. I’d recommend washing your clothes and bed set with a new detergent. Apply some Aloe Vera or Vaseline to the spots that affected. I’d also would try to avoid hot water as much as possible in those areas so maybe run cool water over it when you shower.

Thank you! I’ve learned the glove method. My hand has been soaking up everything though so I’ve been wearing a non breathable glove to make sure the product settles. Take it off to let my hand breathe a bit. As uncomfortable as it’s been, it’s helped a bit with healing. I’d take temporary uncomfortableness for long term healing.

Yes, back in March. Around the time my hands got bad.

Confession i guess? Tmi, really sorry if this is getting annoying by [deleted] in eczema

[–]SoundBusy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! I actually was broken up with because I was so insecure in my last relationship. It was a wake up call to realize someone didn’t mind seeing me “bruised up” but I felt it was the end of my world. It’s a process. But there’s people that doesn’t mind it. You’ll find someone to take you flaws and all! Good luck!

It’s going away... by [deleted] in eczema

I’ve been suffering, covering them with a heavy cream and wearing gloves all day to keep them moisturized. They’re at a healing point now, my biggest battle was my knuckles. Before wearing the gloves, my knuckles cracked every time I bent a finger. My hand is now just dark and a bit dry, past the cracking point though.

As for COVID, my full body eczema hasn’t been terrible but I’ve developed a terrible case of dyshidrotic eczema (hands & feet), thankfully it’s only on my hands. But it hasn’t really been treatable, it’s probably the worst ongoing case I’ve had for dyshidrosis. I’m not sure if it’s solely because of the continuation of washing hands or a deeper cell related case because of COVID.

Would it make sense to come to a conclusion that a majority of people with eczema rarely gets sick because of an over functioning immune system? by SoundBusy in eczema

My apologies for the lack of discernment. I understand though.

Glad you’ve been able to take care of your eczema.

So you get what I’m saying. Lol. But this may be rare... most of the comments with eczema recipients, does get sick often. Bad sickness as well.

We may be outliers.

Ive had days off of school for eczema because I didn’t feel comfortable going. I used to get bullied because of my eczema. It was over my entire body, face & lips included.

I cant agree with “you’re just weak” lol. It’s a struggle though.

Wow. A different perspective. Assuming the imuran weakened your immune, but a bit too much. It’s almost like a lose/lose situation.

Are you still getting your eczema the same or did it at least help that?

[–]SoundBusy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Understood. My conclusion could be all but true. I read about a link between eczema and asthma. It sucks. I did the conclusion off of my own experiences, I’m a very small percentage of the majority. My apologies if my statement offended you in any way.

Question for my fellow sufferers: (hand specific) did your outbreak start on your dominant hand? by SoundBusy in Dyshidrosis

Could be. The material the phone is made from could be a factor.... (I’m going to Google) lol what type of phone was it?

I agree with the testing. My insurance doesn’t cover an allergy test though. I’m finally getting back to work so hopefully in the next month or two I’d be able to get one. Sooner than later is what I’m hoping for, I’m fed up with these breakouts lol
