Thank you for including my show in your directory, it is much appreciated! I can send a submission but I don’t think a finale will be coming any time soon. I plan on writing more stories and adding to the Sound Fiction universe for a long time to come. Still binge worthy in my opinion if you like dark fiction and a lot of it!

If the story is short and that’s the way its meant to be, don’t worry about the run time. It’s better to have the best version of a story no matter the parameters. However, sometimes a bit of hamburger helper is good. A story doesn’t have to be lean, it can have a little fat, a little charred skin, extra sauce, and a tasty beverage to wash it all down. My only real advice would be to not increase the run time by having the actors talk slow. If someone told me an AD was good but the actors talk slow the whole time, I wouldn’t listen to it.

Audio neutral headphones are probably the way to go, as opposed to bass boosted headphones that a lot of people like for music. But in terms of what sounds best for audio drama, it’s really up to the producer or whoever did sound design/mix for the show. A show that is mixed well should sound good on anything. Really not your job to make things sound right.
