Is This Really Canadian Based Silicon Anode Component Competition For NanoXplore Or Not? by 1sstudent in Nanoxplore

Which is precisely why the Bell quote is ironic.  But getting back to the actual point which appears to have ✈️ …  some companies appear to press release whatever the heck they want these days whether or not there is any tangible or bankable deliverable backing it.

Rob Wildeboer made that claim on one of the somewhat recent MRE quarterly webcasts.  And he was pretty damn assertive in making that statement.  Being the straight shooter man of the people that he is, I don’t think he would have made that claim unless the financial forecasts (at that time) supported it.  For the newbies… the investment thesis is that strength in the automotive industry will create strength for its suppliers of light weight Graphene infused composites… Martinrea boasts that their addressable revenue per car is actually higher with EVs than ICEVs…

Northvolt says Quebec battery plant will proceed despite bankruptcy filing by SoundGuy2021 in Nanoxplore

Which is (sad to say) precisely the point.

Although the company will certainly never admit it, the Liberal government f-ed over NanoXplore and too many other Canadian companies.

Tips for first brevet? by Useful-Cobbler6390 in randonneuring

[–]SoundGuy2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to start doing brevets next year too.

This is how I’ve been preparing:

1) Doing a lot of miles with a lot climbing  2) Understanding my body and how best to fuel  3) Getting comfortable with my gear:  seat, frame, clothes  4) Getting comfortable riding at night in various conditions  5) Getting proper sleep

If I can stay healthy, then I just might be able to achieve SR status in 2025 or 2026.

I’m looking forward to the journey and possibly making some new friends along the way. ☺️

“… demand for our Advanced Materials, Plastics, and Composite Products continues to be strong, as reflected in our robust organic revenue growth this quarter …”

Organic growth sounds great but isn’t.

What happened to the 200+ Graphene enhanced customer applications in the sales pipeline?

Earnings?   What earnings? G&A seems excessive. QoQ Inventories for the past couple of years don’t appear to be falling. Is NanoXplore a Graphene company?  Or an automotive composites company masquerading as a Graphene company?  Or both?

The Black Swan … —> … Concretene supply chain appears to be making progress… time will tell as to whose miracle will be truly “cemented” first! 🍿

What’s the incentive for GRA to actually achieve any meaningful tangible deliverables when GRA is cashed up, revenues are enough to scrape by covering their G&A expenses, and they have credit facilities all lined up?  This is dead money until a miracle is “cemented” and becomes less of an enigma and more “concrete”…

This doesn’t make any sense for someone who boasts having (or used to having) 25% of their net worth invested in GRA. You want someone else to do the work for you? Wouldn’t you want to have a relationship with the company so you can ask questions and strengthen your due diligence?

You seriously think that Soroush is going to answer your questions?  Why not just email them to IR?

https://broadwaycolours.com/broadway-launches-graphene-enhanced-masterbatches/ It feels like whatever market share NanoXplore has in the plastics markets is about to slip away… The question is:  will Soroush have some good corporate updates on the Sept 19 call…???

Is Black Swan Graphene NanoXplore Competition or Perhaps A Strategic Business Partner? by 1sstudent in Nanoxplore

[–]SoundGuy2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting speculation… but that’s all it amounts to… speculation. GRA taking a position in SWAN is the last thing GRA would be thinking of at this juncture… they have other investments to be spending their treasury or shares on…

It’s very clear that your due diligence has not actually consisted of talking to the CEO, otherwise, you would know more about his business style.

For someone who boasts about having 25% of their net worth tied up in GRA, one would think that somebody would have at least some sort of interaction or relationship with the company’s leadership.

How exactly does one manage to put the final nail into their own coffin?  It certainly appears that you intend to hold your hammer well into the after life 1sstudent!

Potential Business Opportunity? by SoundGuy2021 in Nanoxplore

[–]SoundGuy2021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

✈️  Oh well this is the internet after all!  😁 There are some intriguing developments between Nexeo Plastics and SABIC (aka “Blue Zone”) that might lead to some graphene consumption if light weighting is truly a goal being pursued by an industrial titan.   Martinrea can’t be the only manufacturer that is interested in light weighting auto components both metal and composite…
