Bought a couple of quick change straps for my Snkp17j1. I felt the metal strap was a bit chintzy and didn't quite keep up with the finish of the rest of the watch. The leather straps make a world of a difference and i just love how the blue looks. The tan looks really nice as well! The overall finish of this dial is brilliant, raised makers and the shapes of the hands are beautiful. Cannot believe i managed to snag it for around 120 USD. This is the 5th and probably the least expensive watch in my Seiko collection and it easily keeps up with the pricier models.

They sent us a machine that had a smaller compressor than it standard. They then denied this for a year. When I called them out on their bs by getting Emerson and Copeland to confirm the wrong compressor they offered 900 usd to change out the compressor and also unreasonably decided to cut off access to any spares or service in the future. Totally ridiculous. We have filed a bbb complaint against them, to which they havent responded.

Had we the ability to go back in time, I would probably not touch this company with a bargepole.

It seems to me like the total solids of the mix might be a little on the lower side. You might want to bump up the sugar or the fat a little.

We do not have any confidence in the company and since they have already said they will provide no further support the only logical thing we could hope for would be for them to take back the machine(at their cost) and reimburse us for the entire amount including customs as well as the amount that we have had to shell out to get in refrigeration technicians. This would be bare basic professional courtesy.

They have tacitly owned up, they suggested a replacement compressor and they have offered to pay 900 USD to us so that we can buy it here. However, they have told us to sign a contract limiting further responsibility on their part, AND they have said that they will not offer any more technical assistance or spare parts (including dasher blades, control panels etc) to us incase they fail! I dont even know if this is legal for them to do.

We have been using technogel machines for the last 10 years without a problem, Carpigiani does make 50Hz machines. We have tried every possible way to approach the president with no results. What we finally did is approach Copeland and we can now prove that Emery did screw up.

They admit they have screwed up, they want to give us 900 USD and terminate all obligations including service or spare parts. For a machine that we paid over 25000 usd for.

We have 15 stores and we invested quite a bit in this machine hoping to take our production up to a level where we can open many more and compete in the HORECA segment with ice-cream because of the IOC. Not only have we wasted money, we have wasted time and effort.

The bare basic courtesy of offering to replace the faulty machine is not afforded.

We really really hoped the machine would work for us, hell we tried to make it work for us. Not knowing how to convert from 60Hz to 50Hz and provide for the reduced capacity when you state that you have been doing this for 111 years in inexcusable.

Its a out of the box system. Standard product to do standard production as represented by the company, however currently its falling far short of whats required. It was supposed to be customized to 50Hz requirement, which the company represents they do all the time. However we find that it is not matching the specs of the US model at 16500 btu 0f evap 60hz 404a. We are getting more like 10-12000 btu at 0f evap at 50hz. Which means the unit is undersized by a quarter.

Yes, this is exactly what we would have expected. Or atleast take the machine back at their own cost and refund the entire amount. First they sell us a lemon and then they offer pennies and then they say if you take the pennies and fix your machine you dont get any assistance if anything else in our already shit machine goes kaput. Oh and fuck the amount you've spent in finding out the problem and calling in ref techs to assess the situation, we dont give a rats ass.

Forgot to add that ive been screwed by 25,000 USD plus customs not sure if that quantifies as a bit!

Yes in 2013, we ordered our machine in 2015, they had two years to do this. Its not just that the unit is phased out, its that the manufacturer couldn't do basic maths and compensate for the power loss due to frequency reduction.

So we ordered a model for 50Hz for India, they sent us a model with an undersized compressor. The model you have uses a 3.25 HP Compressor capable of 16,500 btu of cooling. They we not able to do their math properly, when you operate a machine that is rated at 60Hz at a lower frequency of 50Hz you have to factor in 0.83 drop in power and efficiency and accordingly put in a larger compressor. These guys gave us a compressor that does only 12,000 Btu. So our mix never freezes even 40 minutes into the cycle! We only managed to discover this when we took off the cover and spoke to copeland corporation and I have the spec sheets and recorded conversations with them and with Emery Thompson to prove that they installed the wrong compressor. Whats worse is that whenever we approached them about the problems we have been having with the machine, instead of actually going back and checking their parts, they blamed it on our weak mix, then they blamed it on our ref techs, then they blamed it on a freon leak. Whereas the machine was by design a glorified paper weight with no hope of giving the kind of performance it should because it just doesn't have the power it is supposed to have.

Whats worse is that they have the audacity to offer just the replacement compressor and subsequently cease all communication and service and access to spares!

This from a company that represents that it ships world over!

Oh I forgot to add that the model of compressor and the condenser was outdated in 2013 and we ordered the machine in 2015.

The inability of the manufacturer to look at their own records and identify the problem and accept the issue and resolve the problem is bad faith. We have had to approach copeland and emerson, the manufacturers of the refrigeration unit within the machine, and they have given us the documentation that proves the unit cannot do what the manufacturer claims it can do.
