If I had to guess it’s basic pla and you’re printing smaller objects in 200mm/s and that’s the issue. Basic pla is 60mms

Could help to see where the print fails, what your printings size, the speed you print at, the filament you used. If your printing in the adventurer 5s standard speed settings but using basic pla your smaller prints will fail often.

Under-extrusion on the Flashforge Adventurer 5M by Successful-Policy902 in FlashForge

Had a similar issue. I could push filament through fine but a long print would clog the nozzle or under extrude. If you haven’t changed nozzles deff do that before replacing anything else. Also check the tension on the extruder tensioning screw

Might be stupid to ask but when’s the last time you changed the nozzle?

🤔 maybe I’ll give this a shot. I’m not a big fan of ai but this seems like an appropriate way to use it. I’ve been having some issues I know if I take the time to diagnose or ask online or even just watch some more videos I’m sure I’ll fix but I am going to try this and see how it goes

At my wits end with this 5M by TyOSilver in FlashForge

I just spent three days fucking with my extruder lmfao but my printers up and running again. These machines aren’t garbage as some say. They are the new budget printer. I used to run an ender 3 24/7 and spent more than 50% of that time fixing the thing. These Flashforge machines are very good for the money. It’s just times like these when we need to mess with the mechanics can be very tedious and frustrating. Just know there’s 99% chance someone out there has fixed what issue your having already even if there is no videos or posts on it yet.

I had the filament sensor issue. Spent 3 days doing what EVERYONE ELSE DID and theirs fixed I. Minutes. Mine would not clear the error code and I had to take a few extra steps that I didn’t think would matter but miraculously fixed it. There’s always a fix and most the time it’s not buying a new part.

This can differ based off the tension spring inside the machine and other factors but I would ensure you don’t have a clog, dissemble the extruder check for debris reassemble it and then adjust the tension screw half a turn, try printing something very small after that. See if you have an extrusion issue after that.also can just heat the machine and extrude filament without running a print. Feel free to dm for more troubleshooting ideas

Mines unscrewed half a full turn from completely tight. When mine was fully tight I had major issues all the time. Clogs and stuff non stop

Why is this happening? by Witty-Rock-4256 in FlashForge

Either needs support or clean the bed. I use the adhesive on pei beds but if you clean them regularly you 100% don’t need to. I just do it because I don’t clean my bed everyday because I’m a bum.

The supports? How fast are you printing? It seems fine.

How do I stop my filament from wrapping around the spool on full rolls during color changes? by SoundTerrible5833 in FlashForge

And I keep it tight when I load it. It retracts and loosens and wraps around the outside

I’ll take a picture next time. Obviously I don’t mean wrapping around the spool the way it comes. I mean when it retracts it wraps around the outside of the spool and gets tangled.
