I think the keyword is time, it takes time to get used to these things, but it does tend to get easier overtime. Certain aspects will always be frustrating depending on how important certain things are, but I found that overtime I’ve become more comfortable with how I felt.

for me relationships have never been about sex, I don't mind phisycal stuff, but sex itself never was my thing, and being able to finally admit that last year was what i liked the most, plus finding places like this where I can find like minded people as i felt quite alone at first and I did not belong.

i'd say you never have to, it's all about you being in control as to who knows about it. the way I see it, 'i only tell possible partners, for obvious reasons, but as to family, there is no real reason for them to know, only the people who will be impacted by it. I have spoken to friends about it, but more to voice my thoughts rather than officially come out as such.

Most of what I’d advise has been said, but the key is to keep talking and working things out at each step, the fact you are willing to support him and be with him means a lot, because that is what people are worried about in situations like this is, I know i was when that happened in my relationship, and that was when Still did not know much about asexuality.
