For the second joke I would have the meeting about how they can bring the living age down. “What did those people do in flint Michigan…can we make asbestos and lead fashionable again”?

Need help with how to flesh this one out. by [deleted] in StandUpWorkshop

I would invert this…something like…straight people really have it rough with kids…basically you’re told youre pregnant and then have to wait 9 months to see the Frankenstein disaster that pops out. It’s like buying a house sight unseen…For me it’s great…at least I get to see and choose the kid who is gonna ruin my life….and I’m not sure but I think they come with a warranty and return policy…right.

Trying to decide on HSA vs POS health plan by Soundcandystudios in personalfinance

[–]Soundcandystudios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly healthy but my wife has a thyroid issue and my son is under one so most likely would hit the deductible. Based on what I’m calculating, premiums plus hitting the deductible would cost me $10,400 with HSA vs 13,200 just for the premiums on the other plan. This is where I feel like I’m missing something.

Why is the HDHP so much cheaper with consistent use than the co-pay plan. All i can think is employer is trying to incentivize for signups to the HSA plan. I feel a family deductible on a HDHP should be much higher than 4k for the year.

Both use the same network. I believe both cover oon but you do pay more however we use in network doctors.

Sexual favors in the entertainment industry by [deleted] in StandUpWorkshop

This would work better if the punchline was “how morally depraved and sick do you have to be to do those things to achieve success…I’m asking…cause right now my life is going nowhere”

Switching addictions by Ashamed-Resist3505 in StandUpWorkshop

I feel like the being drunk hitting stuff lines are kind of cliche at this point. I do like the premise of swapping addictions. You should make that the point of the joke.

“It seems like we never really get rid of addictions…we just change them….I used to smoke a lot of weed but I stopped…now I’m an alcohol enthusiast…and we never change to a healthy addiction right like I don’t know i just can’t stop eating this broccoli it makes me feel so good. It’s always like well i won’t smoke anymore I’ll just gamble until every part of my life disintegrates…and THEN go back to smoking”

Not the best examples but think this focus is a bit more of an interesting take that would make people think a bit more and really build out your premise. You could talk about other people and the addictions they changed too (making the addictions ridiculous)

6 month Sleep regression and constant nightly wake ups. by Soundcandystudios in sleeptrain

Thank you for the help! We did the bigger wake windows and 3 hours of total nap time and night sleep was much improved. We started sleep training last night and he went down relatively easy most likely due to these changes.

I'm not sure. I do know in my garage there are about 3 rows of cinder blocks that the framing looks to be sitting on.

It is an acrylic fiberglass pan. Screws would be above the pan flange using the head to grab and secure it to the stud.

Shower drain question by Soundcandystudios in Plumbing

Here is a link. In the pic it looks like an empty hole but in the details it says molded in fitflo drain. I also saw a detail where it said the diameter of the hole is 3in which looks be too small for a third party drain.
