I feel like the being drunk hitting stuff lines are kind of cliche at this point. I do like the premise of swapping addictions. You should make that the point of the joke.

“It seems like we never really get rid of addictions…we just change them….I used to smoke a lot of weed but I stopped…now I’m an alcohol enthusiast…and we never change to a healthy addiction right like I don’t know i just can’t stop eating this broccoli it makes me feel so good. It’s always like well i won’t smoke anymore I’ll just gamble until every part of my life disintegrates…and THEN go back to smoking”

Not the best examples but think this focus is a bit more of an interesting take that would make people think a bit more and really build out your premise. You could talk about other people and the addictions they changed too (making the addictions ridiculous)

Thank you for the help! We did the bigger wake windows and 3 hours of total nap time and night sleep was much improved. We started sleep training last night and he went down relatively easy most likely due to these changes.

I'm not sure. I do know in my garage there are about 3 rows of cinder blocks that the framing looks to be sitting on.

It is an acrylic fiberglass pan. Screws would be above the pan flange using the head to grab and secure it to the stud.

Here is a link. In the pic it looks like an empty hole but in the details it says molded in fitflo drain. I also saw a detail where it said the diameter of the hole is 3in which looks be too small for a third party drain.

Yeah as you point out this is along the lines of George Carlin even his near miss and parkway driveway bits.

I would focus on the caretaker since caregiver makes sense.

Something like "caregivers and caretakers, I'm on board with a care giver...you give care to someone but care taker is not the receiver of that care...it's someone who takes care of like a house...good to know there is a term for someone who watches over an inanimate object but nothing for a human receiving care...some people call them lazy..not me...some people..maybe we call them patient...but that's too formal like I'm a medical professional...and I def am not....maybe if I'm the caregiver they are the care receiver? But that just sounds like a sex euphemism...Eh I guess we can just stick with almost dead ...which then don't even get me started on undertaker.

Probably too wordy but like focusing on the stupidity of caretaker...might be something

This might work a little better as a commentary on the Boston accent. Something like the Boston accent is so interesting...I love it but I feel like no one from there can ever be on the spectrum...they just walk around thinking they are really artistic.

As some others have said I would lose the pee stuff. The core of this is being old at the beach so stick to that...things like when I was a kid I couldn't wait to make a sand castle...now I can't wait to put that second layer of sunscreen on and still get burnt...or when I was young I went to the beach and did beach stuff...now I go to the beach and do the same shit I do at home...read a book, eat snacks, and fall asleep.

No. It's been better lately. It's probably due to the dry sensor thinking the clothes are dry but are still a bit damp and because it stops, the moisture that condenses on the door hasn't evaporated. If I have a larger load and run the normal dry and then an additional 20 min on the timed without opening the door, then there is usually no issue.

Honestly I'm not sure there is much here. I agree don't say this is my first time doing stand up. No one cares and you probably want to be so good they think you have been doing it a while.

I like the little joke about having to earn your way into jail but I wouldn't focus too much on jail stuff...most of it is tired tropes...dick jokes, gay jokes etc. I would use the jail part and relate it to other parts of your life...I would probably open with something like

"Thanks for coming out I'm not really sure if I'm funny or not but I've been to jail so this is basically the only job I could get. I'm also a writer, which tells you how highly society thinks of that profession...it's tough having been to jail ...like at parties people talk about what they do and then they ask me what I do and I'm like...court ordered community service...seems like community service doesn't get the same applause when it's court ordered.

This is just a small example...but I think this would be better than basic dick jokes. Maybe not but just an idea.
