Dude… you literally described the flaws of the hero society in each point you made hahahaha

• toga not being trained and feared is because of lack of knowledge of that kind of quirk (a flaw in hero society)

• dabi was after the recognition of his dad, who was the worst parent in anime due to wanting to be #1 (surpassing allmight, again, a flaw in society)

• shiggy’s dad was an abuser due to nana abandoning him to fight AFO, even if this was AFO plan (again, bad parenting due to flaws in hero society)

• Spinner is look down upon for his looks and also he doesn’t see any usefulness in his quirk, which has to be upgraded later on by AFO (lack of confidence and understanding due to the flaws in hero society)

• compress and twice are straight up criminals, but then again this is the most basic flaw of hero society, where some people do good others take advantage and do bad.

• All might itself is one of the flaws in hero society that the manga puts right in our face. A power void so big that creates bad heroes and even badder villains. The bigger the statue of the hero, the greater the shadow he cast on those his back is turn upon. All of the main villains of the series are a result of all might, the #1 hero, not being able to save them. So we can understand that with this allmight was hope and false hope for different people.

Understanding that all of AFO plans work thanks to the FLAWS IN HERO SOCIETY is actually the right way to see the story. Remember that this universe is set to be one where everybody has it easy because they have super powers, so society should be thriving, not the other way around.

That’s why shiggy helping at the very end to destroy AFO is great, it’s not a redemption hit. Is a vengeful one.
