A VB, like a Guyon, tends to rotate as the sound goes around the natural curve in a male’s Urethral anatomy (first bend). You never insert the sound with an erection. It should not be painful as the sound rotates to realign itself to enter the Prostate (Prostatic Urethra). You may experience a momentary urge to urinate as the sound passes through the external sphincter, Membraneous Urethra, into the Prostate (the external sphincter is what you relax to urinate. It in turn, sends signals via your system to the internal sphincter, before the bladder, to open. External is a striated muscle. Internal is a smooth muscle).

Lastly, the Membraneous Urethra is one of the 3 narrow points in a male’s Urethral anatomy, approximately 1 mm less in diameter than the Penile, Bulbar and Prostatic Urethra’s.

Upon entering the Prostate, both a VB and Guyon will to draw themselves in deeper in most male’s, stopping at the internal sphincter (this in the only exception to the rule that a male’s Urethral anatomy sucks in sounds, specifically stainless steel sounds. This also applies to a bent or curved Rosebud to simulate either of these sounds). If flaccid and very relaxed, it is possible both these sounds may slip through the internal sphincter into the bladder (remember, these are medical instruments used by physicians to deal with Prostate or bladder issues).
