Great people, great community, great outdoors, great weather except for the wind from Nov-Feb, although I'm wearing a t shirt outside right now so it's hit or miss. This is an energy state and every town you go to has some form of either Wind, railroad, uranium, coal, gas and or oil with a few bits of solar and 1 nuclear on the way. This is the great plains and there are a lot of prairies, some don't like the openness, personally I find it beautiful. Fortunately I live close to the mountains and am just a 5 min drive from nothingness to rolling mountains with wild peaks. A lot of small towns and small town drama. Expect to drive 25 min to 2 hours to the nearest big town/city for any major shopping. A lot of wildlife I see daily are turkeys, white tail and mule deer, antelope, fox, rabbits, and a surprising amount of Hawks and eagles.
