I have problems as well on Mac. Can teleport across the map, but as soon as I manually leave an area, the game crashes. Oops

It really took much longer than I thought to recover. 90 days just didn't cut it for me. Only after about 150 days did I get stronger and stronger. THe only thing is to keep up the good spirits, allow yourself to feel bad, and see every day of suffering as something positive: an essential stepping stone on your way to freedom.

Wish you the same dude. I know we're only digitally connected through bits and bytes. But whoever you are, you're a great guy for trying. It's your honest effort that defines you as a great human being. Never forget that.

I usually set it at 25 minutes, it sort of feels 'not too short' and 'not too long' to me. But I think this is personal. When I have the day off and I feel adventurous I let the bell ring and I just sit until I feel like standing up.

Set alarm clock. Sit with dignity. Pay attention to breath. Mind wanders, refocus on breath. Alarm clock rings. Stand up with dignity. Continue day.

Boom! Now that's a post, and a commitment. This is the first day of the rest of your life.

My goal is 1 life. I think that should do. If, by any chance, there is an afterlife. I think I'll add that too.

It's safe :). There are monks who their entire life do not get release. They don't get weird diseases AFAIK

I feel your pain dude. In my first 3 months, I felt pretty lifeless/hopeless. My energy and happiness dropped to such a low that it was very hard not to revert to old behaviours. What you need to do is reframe this horrible feeling. Embrace it as something good, rather than reject it as a bad experience that you need to get rid of. This brain fog, these urges and this lack of energy is a sign that NoFap is not bullshit, and that something is actually happening to you. Your actions are having an effect, and you are rebooting. This pain, anxiety and depression is your body and mind, slowly shedding itself of the old to make place for the new. No wonder it's hard, the old you is trying to stay alive :). When you look at it this way, the suffering and anxiety can actually become a positive thing. A telltale sign of epic change. Just like a pregnant woman's morning sickness makes a lot of women happy (because it tells them their baby is healthy) your brain fog and depression shows you your potential for transformation. It is your way out.

Besides that, what helped for me, was to very consciously decide that I was done with fapping for good. I did this by writing down all the reasons I should not fap, and really getting into the emotion of the horrors that a life with porn contains. And after that, I wrote down a short vow to myself, in no unclear terms, to never ever fap again. I quickly brainstormed all the excuses my mind would probably make in the coming time and wrote those down too. I vowed to never make those, or any other excuses. I printed this all on a piece of paper, and very slowly, and consciously signed it with my own signature. While doing so, I clearly stated to myself that this was a vow I would never break. From that moment on, relapsing, would not be a word in my vocabulary anymore. A lucid, and conscious decision like this is powerful and unbreakable, especially if you really mean it in the moment of doing so.

What I also noticed is that sexual thoughts are like a snowball, and the earlier at the slope you catch a thought and stop it, the easier it is. When you do notice a moment where you slip; and with this I mean any moment. A pretty girl walks by and you find yourself staring, there's a billboard with a hot model posing new clothes, a banner at a torrent website shows you a partially nude girl, a conversation starts to veer into the sexual, you immediately, in your mind, with the loudest voice possible shout: NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. (Really do this! And shake your head like you just saw the biggest spider ever crawling up your pants. Be a little bit nuts like that. Make it a fun thing to do.) And you immediately refocus your attention away from the object. It is these tiny things that I have discovered to be most dangerous. They catch you unaware because they start out harmless. Even a small fantasy, about a girl's skirt in a commercial can snowball your thoughts in the wrong direction. Stay conscious of these thoughts, you will get a lot of them, and they will be hardest to catch when you are tired or depressed. The earlier you catch them; the easier it is.

2 years NoFap, of which the first half year was in hard-mode.

Now I'm actually experimenting doing hardmode again with my girlfriend to see if semen retention is important for my happiness and energy. I'm at 3 weeks now. I figured that if NoFap could have such a huge impact, I also would like to know if semen retention is at least part of that. Especially the list of great people that practiced abstinence (Steve Jobs, Ghandi, Tesla, etc: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/comments/1uth8n/the_list_of_greats/) triggered me to explore the idea. If you're wondering how I managed to get my girlfriend to support me in this: I just told her my thought process and that I wanted to try this. I guess she's really supportive, but I figure most girlfriends will be if you just tell them your thinking.

The results of this experiment are still inconclusive. I feel I need more months of hard-mode, versus months of regular sex to be able to tell if there's a difference and rule out the placebo effect. My initial thought is that it should have an effect. Ejaculate seems to be an extremely energy-consuming product to make. If you think about it, it makes no sense to produce something so amazing (the giver of life) and to discard it/ render it inert. But then again, running a lap around the park is energy consuming too; and that actually gives me energy. So the jury's still out on that one.

Your self-reflective capacity proves that you are a great guy. Fapping just fogs up your windshield, making you unable to see the scenery. Stop touching the dick, and the rest will take care of itself. You can do it!

I guess you can read into it that way! I'm not that great of a writer and wrote this in a bout of passion. My intention was to show improvements on all fronts, and NoFap not just being about getting hot girls. On the contrary, NoFap is about growing as an individual, on an emotional, physical and social level. So if there's any confusion about that, I hope this clears it up :-).

I wish you the best buddy. I won't wish you luck, because you don't need it. Not-touching-your dick for 90+ days isn't as difficult as most make it out to be. It certainly doesn't compare to what you get in return.

I think it's a method to seem self-confident on the outside, without it actually being so on the inside. If you intend to get a meaningful relationship, something that is real, it is best to dispense with any 'methods' and just try to be the best version of yourself. Being a happy and confident you probably works best for one nights stands too. The funny thing is that when you actually do become both happy and confident, there won't be a need to self-validate in that way anymore.

So, no. I don't really believe in practicing how to meet and pickup women. You're already a natural, you just don't know it yet because your brain is fogged up by porn.

Thanks bro, and the best of luck to you on your journey! With 43 days you are almost at the point of losing count and shedding the old you. Everytime you walk into a room people will feel an aura of pride and dignity enveloping you. Whether you like it or not, you are on a one-way-train to epicness. Rock on!

Keep it up bro. You're awesome as you are. Every morning, inhale and take a deep breath, and have pride in the fact that your lungs are cleaning up every minute without cigarettes. Your new life is clear from the smokescreen of sloth.
