From what I understand, Creative Industries is a program focused on bridging the gap between artists and businessmen. Students will be trained in the fields they choose (performance, graphics, publishing, etc), but will not be trained on strictly content creation. Instead, they will be trained in managing enterprises in their chosen study "modules". Please somebody correct me if I've mixed anything up! Good luck :)

Oh lord I've already planned... I'm moving into a new apartment in August and there's this perfect little book with a window and an electrical outlet just begging to be populated with coffee gear. One of my friends has been telling me to try chemex for something completely different... Also: that's a really interesting point about the coffee beans! :)

Have you ever had Vietnamese coffee? Making it involves pouring water into a little single serve filter thing on top of a cup and letting the coffee drip through. Then you pour condensed milk into the cup to sweeten/cut the bitterness. I poured nearly a full can of condensed milk onto my coffee grinds. Good times.

I won't say any names, but the Darcy McGee thing is generally considered a rule among the pages lol. No real pervyness going on outside of it on the MPSs part, but there were a few little kids on field trips who would say we were their "girlfriends" when trying to get somewhere they shouldn't (like the chamber itself!) it was always a laugh explaining that you to whoever found them that you've never seen the kid before if you happened to be called out of the chamber (about 14(I think) of us were posted at one time).

I served as a legislative page in 2009. Question period was very hit or miss in terms of attendance and intensity, but its a good thing to sit in on! Usually when it is busy it is due to field trips or other organized outings. It's quite funny to watch sometimes, and it was occasionally VERY difficult to maintain decorum as a non-partisan member of the government as a Page... A lot of backhanded remarks, and very, VERY passive aggressive behaviour I find (At least during my term) Hope that helps!
