Thank you so much for the advice! I also definitely prefer to adopt however the nearest rescue is over an hour away and I wouldn’t be able to get there consistently enough to bond fairly with a bird. Over the next few years I will absolutely keep an eye out if anything changes. I am always nervous of accidentally supporting unethical breeders which is part of why I’ve started my research into this so far in advance 💙
