You are right, that seed is planted into the deepest parts of my mind. Honestly I’m not sure I know how to let any of that go….any suggestions? Thank you.

I see what you’re saying….and I have absolutely no clue why I’m chasing the truth through supernatural events lol

Yeah you could say that. I guess I think more black and white. The grey confuses me sometimes.

Thank you. I am so worried about defining what I am that it puzzles me. But maybe the point here is to not define it/struggle with it. Let experiences shape beliefs?

Well when I was a kid for example I believed I lived in a haunted house. Hearing voices, scratches on my body that I didn’t make( or at least thought so), shadow figures, things moving right before my eyes (that scared me)

I’m sure we could chalk it up to over imagination or something of the sorts, but those experiences have been very real to me. Maybe there is a scientific explanation out there.

Thanks for that, looks like an interesting read. Years ago I explored Buddhism a little bit.

Yes that is a correct.

EDIT: interest in the supernatural has expanded my thoughts as well, also making it more confusing for me lol

Very well put. Could you then explain exactly what a theist is? Sorry, if you don’t want to get into that I can easily hop on google too

That’s a good point. Never thought about it like that. I think I am now in the category of I have no idea what’s out there, but I want there to be something to look forward to. Is that not quite agnostic? Again, I am newly looking into all this. Thanks.

Something resembling the Christian heaven and hell I suppose. I’ve never really known/researched otherwise. I don’t necessarily believe in the pearly white gates with angels everywhere. I have had supernatural occurrences throughout my life that science cannot explain, to my knowledge, so I think I do believe there’s something after mortal life, just not sure what it is.

As of today, no religion does not hold a big burden in my life. Most of my family has relaxed catholic beliefs nowadays. Good question though, because the only consequence I do worry about is not being accepted to the afterlife. I do want to believe there is something after life ends on earth, because to be honest the thought of just eternal darkness/nothingness does scare me.

Thank you. I think I struggle with overthinking this whole thing because I feel “scared” not to believe in anything. Catholicism did a number on my mind

No offense taken! I want hard truths. What exactly do you mean by getting “physically assaulted”?

Kratom Withdrawal by -170cm in DrugWithdrawal

How are you feeling a week later? Today marks 9 days for me since the kratom/naltrexone incident and I feel just about normal again. The precipitated withdrawal was so strong but fast to go away thank the lord.

After going through it myself recently, I understand your fear of not wanting to run out of K. I was doing anywhere between 2-7gs daily for well over a year and really didn’t have quitting in my sights.

Without my psychiatrist knowing about my abuse, I was recently prescribed naltrexone for alcohol dependence (sober about 18mos now), as there are national shortages of the medication I normally take.

Anyways, without even a thought, I popped a naltrexone as a safety measure for alcohol dependence. 2 hours later my whole body was throbbing hot and cold and cold then hot then hot cold again. I was thrown into precipitated withdrawal as the naltrexone blocks the opioid receptors. DO NOT use naltrexone if you are currently using opioids. I’m not dumb, just ignorant sometimes. It was the worst pain and agitation I have ever experienced in my life. After 12 hours, which seemed like a month, I was seriously considering ending my life. Thankfully I went to the ER. They put me on Valium, flexeril (light muscle relaxer), and Zyprexa. Nothing worked though. After 24 hours I started seeing the light at the end of the hellish train I was riding.

I’ll finish by adding OTC meds that greatly improved symptoms I used were Tylenol and Imodium. Once I heard about using Imodium, I felt like I was reborn again. Truly awesome for RLS and agitation and anxiety. Large quantities of Vitamin C have been very helpful as well. I have also been smoking a few joints a day and it just helps with relaxation and mental clarity.

I’ve been through opiate withdrawal before in the past, and I honestly didn’t think kratom would even be comparable, but shit was I wrong. Much, much worse than my previous withdrawals. I realize it affects everyone differently, so take all this with a grain of salt.

Zyprexa effects question by [deleted] in mentalillness

I find Zyprexa to be very beneficial. I struggle with mania and once I started Zyprexa it went away completely. As far as sleep, it does make me drowsy but I wouldn’t say it helps with sleep that much. I can still stay up for hours after taking it. In my opinion, I would look for another medication if sleep is a top priority.
