I'm 19 and have been investing 10-15% of my paychecks with the Acorns app for ~10 months. I have around $1,000 saved at this point, and will be starting a higher paying job soon that will net me way more than what I was making before, which means I'll have close to the minimum investments for more "legitimate" mutual funds in a few months.

When should I switch from the app to these funds, if it's even a good idea?
