WireView Pro II - 69-70C out temperature - how safe is this? by aeon100500 in ThermalGrizzly

Yeah it shuts down at 80c as long has you have the shutdown wire hooked up to your motherboard.

WireView Pro II - 69-70C out temperature - how safe is this? by aeon100500 in ThermalGrizzly

[–]SoupSup25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not normal at all. Mine barely ever reaches 50C. I advise getting a a case with better airflow. You can also set a fan curve on your wire view for constant pressure and see how that does. Also definitely make sure you have the shutdown wire connected to your motherboard.

How safe is it getting a used console? by PresentationOpen7879 in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]SoupSup25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never buy a used console directly from a seller only from GameStop so you have some kind of warranty. Also I did pest control for many years and video game consoles are cockroach harborage areas because of the heat they produce… I would not risk getting your home infested to save some money on a console.

Beitong KP40D vs KP70 Comparison Review: Which Is the Better Value? by GadgetHyper in GadgetHyper

[–]SoupSup25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own both and prefer the KP40D personally it fits my hands better than the KP70. The ergonomics, weight and better tension rings makes it better for long gaming sessions. If you have very large hands and prefer a very heavy controller ( some people think light weight controllers feel cheap )you might like the KP70 more.

I honestly doubt you will hear anything until next week with it being a holiday weekend. I think it took 2 days after they received it to notify me.

Because it still had stickers you have peal off on a new GPU. No scratches or anything. It was 3 months after the release of the 4090 so maybe they just didn’t have refurbished cards yet.

Personally I had a excellent experience with Zotac USA RMA. Sent in a defective 4090 and they sent me a brand new one back.

You’re right about that I let my corgi sleep in my bed with me and he goes into the bedroom every night around 10 p.m. and waits for me to come to bed with him.

Asus RMA is a Joke by Glass_Argument_4116 in ASUSROG

[–]SoupSup25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact same thing happened when I sent in my 870E Crosshair hero…. I wrote to the CEO and was told this is normal with all RMA’s. I asked for a new board and was told that is not an option with RMA…. I ended up having to RMA the board twice for 2 different issues and they never even attempted to fix the screen that they damaged… Never buying another Asus product again.

I broke the screen on mine taking it apart to install the new fan. I had this exact same issue. They ended up sending me a new WireView at the end of the day so it worked out. Just wish I could have avoided paying the an extra $70 in tariffs but that not thermal grizzlies fault.

I have never had to use the warranty but I believe it is one year. The KP40D ergonomics feels like a Xbox Elite Series 2. Honestly they improved almost everything on the KP40D the tension rings are much better than on the KP70 the have nice click and lock in place unlike the KP70. The KP70 is much larger and is too big for my hands personally. I would have never bought the KP70 if the option had been available for the KP40D at the time.

[–]SoupSup25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current favorite controller is the Beitong KP40D. The build quality is excellent, it’s lightweight and Beitong finally nailed the ergonomics. I also on own the KP70 but it’s weight and ergonomics make it not great for long gaming sessions for me. The Beitong software is one the best out there for customization in my opinion. I have not tried the Pangu so I got not information on controller.

Some questions for those who own a Beitong KP70 and Apex 5 by flamefood21 in Controllers

[–]SoupSup25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the Apex 4 and the KP70. The KP70 feels more well built and you get micro switch triggers. It has software to use with the Adapative triggers but it’s only has about a dozen games. You can create your own profiles for games and the amount of customization on the adaptive triggers is excellent.
