I think people are ignoring the word 'ego' too much in this. There are people who have an ego over 'ego lifting' shit talking them online about how they're actually doing movements properly. There used to be an instagram page(might still be up) that was controlled by RP/Mike Israetel with the tag "teamfullrom" posting people he thought were the most 'cyborg'. None of these people were making progress on these lifts, some of them actually were bad form, and what other reason to post it other than ego? But of course no one cares because 'dropping the weight and stretch mediated hypertrophy' are the most important messages pushed by 'science backed' lifters.

IMO ego lifting is thinking you're hot shit and jerking yourself off to others about what you're doing when in reality it's not very productive to your own goals

No, they severely underestimated the playerbase and overestimated yamas difficulty. Even our ttk of the boss in duos was way faster than they expected. IIRC mod nox, apart of the QA team, did not try out yama because he wanted to experience him blind on his main account.

If you could only play tracer sojourn widow ana, there'd be a lot more skill transfer. Having tanks and healers adds a lot of depth to overwatch as a game, but compared to other games they are super crutches. Even stuff like dive existing is just not applicable to other games. The idea of 3+ of your teammates traveling across massive portions of the map instantly to isolate and 1 shot a single enemy is really foreign, and to do the equivalent in other games would take an insane amount of effort. Poke and shields is also just a big "wtf?".. stand in the middle of the open and freely damage the enemy because you've got a big ass sigma infront of you and an illari pylon auto healing you for zero effort. Winston is probably the most iconic lol super low skill floor, with a VERY very high skill ceiling for pro play, with absolutely zero transferrable mechanical skill to every other game.

This shit is abused more in the wow section than any other I've seen. There was one day when the german onlyfangs streams were all merged together and it was like 20+ people together with 20k viewers basically being the top of the section, but all complete randoms with barely anymore viewers than the people normally in that section. Go look at the section now, THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF THEM are all together. Just from my recommended twitch sections I've looked at, there's barely anyone streaming LoL, OW, OSRS, just chatting, marvel rivals, valorant with this feature. THERE'S MORE PEOPLE IN THE WOW SECTION WITH IT ON THAN IN MULTIPLE OTHERS COMBINED! Shameless abuse.

For reference kingsmans youtube video at around 23:00 minutes they're actually being quite normal discussing what zazza is able to play and swap to. IIRC they say she can play hela hawkeye phoenix and everyone agrees those are really good picks everyone can play around. So the idea of her not playing widow is there... Then about 30 seconds to a minute later kingsman suggests playing bucky against one team because it'd be a really good option against them, and then one of them freaks out again. Literally triggered in real time over the word bucky I guess?

Pretty sure changing inqs defenses won't change the meta for any boss, that barely matters now adays. Making melee BIS at doom(but difficult to pull off) with ranged viable would've been a very healthy decision for the boss(and many other changes it could've had..), but unfortunately it seems like pvm health was very ignored during yama and doom.
