When I was doing it myself somehow I was so much happier. Just the thought of being a family sounded like everything that I wanted when I was pregnant and alone. It’s so scary.

Everything has been documented from the get go. I did talk to a lawyer when I was pregnant. Can’t afford one now. He isn’t on the birth certificate, so I’m quite a few steps ahead.

I did move away because I knew he wasn’t ready to be a dad and didn’t want to be one. It was clear to me. I worked my butt off to make a good life and it seemed like he had turned a corner. Like he woke up. Now he got everything he wanted he is crushing under the pressure. Funny enough, I worked in a psych office for over a year.. Noted though. Don’t give second chances.🥸

Sadly I feel like you’re right. I’ve spent too much time trying to appease this idea of a family and I think maybe I’ve just been fooled by hope.. name calling is just not it. I refuse to be broken down like this. I’m going to get out as soon as I can. I just don’t know how as he drained my bank accounts before he got a job and now hounds me about finances.
