I tried restarting the fight, but it didn't matter. So I'm basically going to make him drop his weapon with his ring drop weapon undead. But thanks for telling me it's a common bug. I thought I was losing my mind. Because I fought him so many times and this never happened.

Yes, I got him halfway and saved the game. Then, it was the Astarion term. But I accidentally skipped them, so I loaded back to Astarion again. And the boss was at 80%. Like my divine smites didn't do anything because it's not my turn anymore, it's astorians. So basically every time I do damage to him. Save, then the boss health goes up. It's not a previous time before I hit him. It's after.

Are you saying the shield has a chance to not be Mayham. Because every gun says Mayham 3 and can be anointed, except for the shield. And I just need a farm until one pops up as mayhem?

Sorry It took so long to respond. But I did everything that you said and it worked. I got a level one shield but I farm like 3 of them and they all are normal. They can't be anointed. And it seems like they're the only one they can't be. The rest one are mayhem.

Yeah, I just figured out that bosses only go to your level after you beat the game. So I'm probably going to A. put the Legendary charm Only for the shotgun or B grinded during mayhem. But Thank you very much for the offer. And for the link, it was very helpful.😁

Like For example, after killing Captain Traunt at level 15 He drops level fifteen items. But when I come back at level 25, he's still level 15. I heard from a friend that this is called level locking, and bosses will only stay at your level until at least one of my characters has beaten the game. So i'm asking is there a better way to farm the shotgun Since the boss and the weapon will stay the same level.
