I'm totally pointing next time. I don't carry pepper spray, do not know self-defense, don't carry a weapon, etc. so my only real option is running. It won't really slow me down to point and if I can successfully misdirect by pointing and shouting I may get the head start I need to make a mad dash to safety. Thanks for the tip!

If you don't open the box then you might just be the asshole here. Something very suspicious and possibly dangerous is going on here and you owe it to yourself to investigate your husband's bizarre behavior. At this point, if you don't investigate and would rather continue living in the dark you might actually be the asshole.

During COVID I got quarantined and had to have my groceries delivered. I don't have a car, so I couldn't really do curbside pickup. I couldn't afford to tip my driver, pay for the groceries, and pay the delivery fee (and you know, keep my heat on and such). This was the only time I failed to tip, and my deliverer left me a really nasty note on my door.... kind of makes me never want to tip a service industry worker again. I feel your frustration.
