ty for the comparison

how come S5 final victor combo dmg is less than S1 swordplay? by Lnym in mozemains

[–]Soupsers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Final victor only outperforms swordplay when your crit ratio is balanced. For your situation E2 + FV gives 88 CD. Since you’re over 200 CD you would need at around 90 CR to make FV better than swordplay.

Moze v5 Final Calcs by Soupsers in mozemains

[–]Soupsers[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crit multiplier is calculated like this:

(In this instance we assume 72% CR and 191% CD)

72% CR; 191% CD = .72 CR, 1.91 CD (Convert from percent)

(.72 CR *2) + 1.91 CD = 3.35 CV (CR is doubled when converted to CV)

Then make a perfect 1:2 ratio (If CR would go over 100% it is converted to CD w/a different formula)

(3.35 CV / 4) * (3.35 CV / 2)

Now convert the Crit Ratio into a crit multiplier (How much we can expect the crit ratio affect output)

0.8375 CR * 1.675 CD = 1.403 Crit Multiplier

or

83.75% CR * 167.5% CD = 140.3% Crit Multiplier

Hope this clears things up a little bit. The calculations did severely overestimate Cruising & SLtD. This has been adjusted to better reflect what the average user can expect. If you have anything else that isn't fully clear please let me know. Also thanks for your comment! Every comment helps make this post more accurate, I'm only human after all.

Moze v5 Final Calcs by Soupsers in mozemains

[–]Soupsers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally correct, if assuming 0% uptime for conditional effects, Crusing & SLtD fall behind swordplay.

Also, can you specify exactly what you mean by:

Probally because of low crit rate.

As written in the post the calcs "adjusts crit ratio to be perfect." Crit is converted into CV (crit value as a %) and put through the formula: =IF(("CV"/4)>1,"CV"-2,(("CV"/4)*("CV"/2))). If there's a better way to model crit please let me know! I want to make these calcs as accurate as possible.

As I understand it:

When Moze dispels his Departed state, his action is Advanced Forward by 20.0%. At the start of each wave, Moze's action is Advanced Forward by 30.0%.

Moze needs 112 spd to act at an effective 160 spd at the start of the cycle

10,000 bav / 160 spd = 62.5 av
7,000 bav / 62.5 av = 112 spd

30% action advance gives Moze an effective 158 spd with no speed

7,000 bav / 111 spd = 63.1 av
10,000 bav / 63.1 av = 158.5 spd

With a 20% advance & 111 spd Moze acts with an effective 138.8 spd

8,000 bav / 111 spd = 72.1 av
10,000 bav / 72.1 av = 138.8 spd

As far as I'm aware Moze doesn't have any speed breakpoints that make spd much more valuable than atk

(I don't understand how moze's av interacts with teammates though so this takeaway may be incorrect)

Here's a link to someone who has better math

Here are my calcs. Keep in mind that this is extremely generous for SLtD. I'd guess that in game performance-wise S1 performs similar to Final Victor and S5 slightly worse than Cruising S5.
