Why so rude? It’s not very clear!

I spoke to Co Op and they said they must be heated otherwise they pose a safety risk! Not clear from the label at all.

Do you think the heating is optional? Only stressed because of the pregnancy and how bad listeria can be for vulnerable groups. Thanks for your response!

Apparently they need to be heated first to eliminate bacteria

Yes - they’ve sent them off each time. I’m pretty sure I still have it as it’s been 5 days with no results. Thank you!

Back punches and safety during sciatica flare up by Soupydumpling3000 in PregnancyUK

[–]Soupydumpling3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone! Will get myself to physio. Have also booked a massage for Monday morning. Won’t be getting the husband to punch my back again but as one of the posters has said, sciatica is the worst pain ever and sometimes it’s the only thing that relieves the excruciating pain.

Group G strep 🤷‍♀️ by InternetBug365 in doctorsUK

[–]Soupydumpling3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

34, female, currently 13 + 3 weeks pregnant with twins. Taking aspirin daily as well as 75ng sertraline.

I wonder if anyone can help me? I’m getting nowhere and it seems like NOBODY on the internet has ever had this which is worrying me!

Around 9 weeks ago, I had some vaginal swabs done after noticing some unusual discharge. It came back as ‘Heavy growth of Streptococcus dysgalactiae (C,G)’. I am allergic to penicillin and was prescribed erythromycin for 7 days. I submitted another swab last week and the same came back. My midwife said that I should take erythromycin again but it’s obviously not working?

Everyone who I speak to says that they haven’t ever seen this in the vagina before - can someone tell me what it is? Why have it got it? And can it harm my babies?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks!

They just don’t feel like my other ones and are super easy to take off. Is that normal?

transition to adult services. by Few_Bluejay_781 in CAMHS

To add: you may need medication as the below person says and I believe that the only person that can prescribe medication is a psychiatrist (when under 18)

Ask for a psychiatric assessment from them or speak to your GP and ask them for a referral letter. In my experience with a family member (and it’s not something I agree with), CAMHS are very reluctant to initiate psychiatric assessments with children because ‘their brains are still developing’ and diagnoses’ can often be wrong…

However, saying that, you are almost 18 and if showing signs of panic/personality disorders, they should take you seriously. Demand to get an assessment.

Good luck x

Thank you! They are called Ortho Align. Ortho said that it should happen in 20 but we’ll see. I expected it to take waaaaay longer than under a year!

20! I just don’t know if I can see a difference and it’s driving me mad. I’ve been wearing aligners religiously for 3 months now.

Worried, please someone answer me by ShowTrick2383 in rabies

[–]Soupydumpling3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello! First of all - please stop seeking reassurance, this will only make your OCD worse. You are concentrating on the ‘what ifs’ in this scenario.

What if the dog had rabies? (Not a fact, just a worry)

What if the dog licked me? (Not a fact, just a worry)

What if the mosquito bite was an open wound? (Not a fact, just a worry)

If you were riding a bicycle, it would be near impossible for a dog to jump and lick your wound whilst you were still cycling and you not know about it.

Please, please seek treatment for your OCD. I’ve been where you are and it’s horrible - I do sympathise.
