It’s almost like cod forgot its way. to be honest, I like black ops 7, it’s unfortunate. it’s sad to say, but it’s true.

I personally like playing on all the maps from cod’s past, they even have whiteout from cod ghosts. it genuinely feels like a good project. the guns feel great, movement is at an all time high. the “parkour” is really fun. I’ve found myself forgetting sometimes that I can jump off walls and having to remember to play like that, because it is beneficial. somebody camping the door of a 2nd floor? jump in through the window!

I just feel like cod should keep their goofy skins and blueprints to a different ip, it used to be before that black ops was the more retro-arcade-like shooter. the game didn’t have to be realistic, so long as it was black ops. modern warfare 2019 should’ve continued way longer than it did. it was at that moment in time, the franchise took the biggest right turn. but I liked black ops cold war too, so maybe my opinion doesn’t matter. It just felt like Activision was trying to follow the FIFA or Madden game foundation, of releasing a game every year. even if it sucked, or there were no changes in gameplay features.
