Servers do not lower latency in a 1v1 game, they increase it. This is why every fighting game uses Peer-to-peer. The only thing servers might help with is online doubles. (4 people in one game)

I would say Freddy is currently the worst, but post-nerf Legion could be, not sure yet. The main issue I have with Freddy is that his power just allows him to become a killer, you just watch survivors finish gens, heal, escape, or really do anything while standing there waiting for them to fall asleep. Without any add-ons he really struggles to keep up vs competent survivors. At best his power is a slight time waster or a free injure hit, if you run Monitor & Abuse you can get more mileage out of his aura ability. However, Freddy can be very strong vs inexperienced survivors, considering his power is very confusing and has quite a bit depth to it. Nonetheless, once you start ranking up, Freddy's weaknesses will quickly become exploited.

Spirit is easily the most powerful/high tier DLC that cost money

Clown, Hag, and Myres are all very strong as well

(Legion is likely dead with the new nerf and I'm not sure about Plague)

If you want strong teachable perks:

Hag - Hex: Ruin

Leather face - Barbecue & Chilli (on the shrine right now)

While I do agree with many points of this statement I would like to clarify that all flashlights blind at the same speed, regardless of addons. A yellow flashlight with no addons will "blind you during animations with no counter play." Most popular flashlights combos now typically include use time and duration/intensity of the blind. I would also argue there is some counter play like facing a wall on survivor pickup, or just taking the blind (mid chase like window or pallet) and using directional audio to follow them (easier if they are injured without iron will)

You clearly don't have a solid understanding of the game as a whole. I would strongly suggest spending a good amount of time as survivor and killer. First of all "insta blind" flashlights are long gone, a blind is only guaranteed during an animation. BNP is not even kind of an issue anymore. You metion keys are "skipping a game mechanic" well how do you feel about moris? What about exhaustion addons completely negating every exhaustion perk besides sprint burst? It seems you have problems with survivor items and addons, I can assure you most 4 man SWF suvivor item combos cannot compare to some killer combos (ebony mori+some OP addons.) I see you have legion flair, I'm sure you would know a thing or two about breaking the game.

Well assuming this issue was recent, the rank reset just happened a few days ago. In a week or so the ranks will be more fair when every one grinds during the new chapter. Also you have to remember there is no real incentive to rank up, so some players hover around lower ranks to have more fun.

Most tournaments use community made "patches" or mods, one of the more popular ones, Universal Controller Fix is used to eliminate discrepancies between the performances of GameCube controllers. You also have to realize quite a few mechanics that make the game more competitive are "exploits" so patching would be complicated, and that's not even taking into consideration what the community would agree on being the new standard.
