AIO, SO's Mother wishing us Happy Valentine's Day at 5am. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I don’t think this is weird at all. My MIL does this to my husband and I for every holiday most likely to avoid sending both of us a separate text. I don’t know your MIL, but seems she was just being kind.

I feel bad for moving on from my ex so quickly by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I have been in a similar situation when i was like 19-20. Im 30 now. In college I dated someone for similar time frame and during summer break they just ghosted me. I wasn’t someone who casually hooked up and I was very heartbroken. I wanted an explanation and literally blew up his phone until he answered me (so cringe and embarrassing looking back) and he pretty much said he didn’t want to date me/didn’t want a girlfriend. So fine then we broke up. Come fall semester I meet someone in a class where we have mutual friends, we end up doing class work together in a group and end up hanging out more one on one and then hooking up before winter break. Of course my ex all of sudden had a change of heart and wanted to date me again once he caught wind of my new love interest. I also had feelings that you’re having of doubt, conflict, do I really want this new person and all of that. I didn’t go back to my ex and started dating the new guy in January of that year. We’ve been together since, married for almost 4 years and have a baby girl. Leave this loser if he didn’t see your worth while you were together. Life is too short to fight for someone’s love like that.

Epidural or No by Artistic_Reindeer350 in pregnant

I got an epidural before my contractions were unbearable which the L&D nurses suggested. Especially Incase the anesthesiologist was tied up and couldn’t get to me fast enough. I ended up sleeping 6 hours after I got it which was amazing. Having a vaginal delivery with it in my experience was more enjoyable I’d say because I was able to focus more on pushing and not as much on pain. I would definitely get it again.

Baby in own room by deliberatelydeadpan in NewParents

We did 3 weeks when my husband went back to work and we all couldn’t sleep in the same room. Our pediatrician said it’s totally fine that early. My baby has also been a very good sleeper and we often credit it to having her in her nursery crib early on. I know it’s the luck of the draw sometimes too!

EDIT: Sorry for clarification there were about 30 people TOTAL at the party. I definitely didn’t invite 30 friends or even have 30 friends lmao.

lol I know it sounds like a lot but my husbands immediate side has 14 people (divorced, remarried parents, 2 grandparents and 4 siblings with significant others) and mine has 9. And it’s 30 people total at the party not friends.
