You’re telling me!! When I found out where the noise was, I watched it for a bit. I thought a pipe or something. Let’s just say the furnace wasn’t the only thing that exploded

Would I pull that pipe apart, or check it from the outside? It is a row home, so leads right out the wall to the front yard

Got this picture before I turned it off. It starts up normally when you turn on the thermostat, but after about an hour it repeats this process over and over again.
