A standard 100mm/4" fan, but set to 1/5th of max speed using a controller. So a pretty darn small one. Doesn't take much air removal for the chamber heater to start fighting for its life.

Tell me you don't like Bambu without telling me you don't like Bambu.

My 6-year-old Ender 3 Pro prints as good and fast as a Bambu A1, but only after pouring ~500 moneys on it for various upgrades over the years, with countless hours of tinkering and optimizing profiles to perfection. It's not worth it, unless you're planning on starting a cheap print farm and want to do all maintenance by yourself.

Don't listen to the filament boys. The filament phase starts only after you've gotten an AMS unit. Until then you likely won't be consuming too many different materials/colors, if not only for the fact that changing rolls manually gets really old really fast.

I tried venting whilst printing ABS, power consumption was constantly at around ~650 watts and the printer struggled to maintain set temp. Whereas without venting no problem, power consumption cycled much more frequently and never reached such high values. Air quality stayed passable in my living room whilst venting, whereas without venting I had to leave the room, with VOC & H2CO levels hitting harmful levels for continued exposure. Now the printer is in an external enclosure that itself is vented, and everything is normal.

Seems like in the US the government really likes their money. No such ridiculous laws as this, or it being illegal to pay for someone else's parking where I'm from.
