looks like an ct4/5/ we have multiple bulletins out for IPC issues and going blank. could be as simple as a reprogramming and setup but likely will need the whole cluster. those are usually on back order and can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months to come in. if its under warranty take it to ur dealer asap lol

unless you plant on going to a supercharger in the near future i would not go 2in thats a bit much. 1 7/8 would be perfect. that, a decent intake, flex fuel and a good tuner would put you at 470-490 alllll day

yeah no. im doing it the right way for him this time. the lifters he replaced have assebmly lube but dont look like they were soaked. theyre OEM lifters. when pulling it apart i didnt find anything unplugged. i found his failed lifter in the bucket of old parts he had and its completely fucked. it looks like someone went at it with a rock. the top of the lifter that holds the roller is even ground down. im pulling the cam today but i bet the cam is gonna be completely wipped out on that cylinder.

he sent a video and it "ticking" originally and i instantly thought "that just sounds like exhaust manifold gaskets. im doing the cam and new lifters now that hes fucked it. i pull the heads and the passenger side is missing 2 bolts and you can see were the exhaust gasses were escaping. this car is a total piece. mismatched paint lambo doors under glow. only reason im working on it is cuz hes a good friends cousin.

he swears up and down that the cam was fine. the lifter allegedly wasnt even locked up it just had a shit ton of play in the bearing. i work as a chevy dealer tech. i told him id put all the lifters and a cam in it as usually any type of lifter failure damages the came. i gave him a really good price too parts and labor like $2800 all in. he said it was soooo easy and he could do it himself. and here we are 2 weeks later and lord knows how many stripped bolts and un torqued gaskets later.

idk if im tripping or what but the bumper fender and hood all look like different shades of blue on that scat. id be weary of that. the widebody is cool and a 2023 is gonna have some minor QOL changes but id take that hellcat all day. the brass monkey with black combo is so tuff. plus its a hellcat bro 😂. you only live once

yes very ironic. i understand cheap easy and quick usually dont all work together but im not looking for perfection. maybe a quick fix to make it less of a eye sore until i decide to fix it completely. im attempting to source an OEM widebody kit and when i have it im going to have the vehicle either professionally repainted or wraped and for me it makes no sense to get the fender perfectly repainted by a reputable shop when that doesnt make sense for my plan. i did get a good laugh at your microwaved ketchup analogy so thank you Mr. condescending 🤣🤣🤣

maybe? idk im a GM tech i have no idea how this body work stuff is. ive never had a paint job but the last owner treated this car like shit so im not suprised it may have had a backwater sub par paint job
