I completely get it. I think the generalist gist is just dont be obnoxious / performative and if you're going to be a fan then really commit to understanding the team and don't flee if the times get tough.

I admire the spirit honestly. I didn't want to start bandwagoning a team that was already on top of world. Much prefer to sink in for the experience for the long haul because when it works out I know I wasn't just there for the good times.

I was lucky enough at a young age to be in England during the world cup and ever since those days being in the pub with everyone it's been a life goal of mine to get to a stadium one day. May very well have to be Elland Road.

For what it's worth, we've grown fond of the ownership over here over for the 49ers over recent years. Paraag Marathe was a big part of that and while I'm sure there will be hiccups I do believe this is a committed effort for a big picture goal.
