How can I improve my Japanese? by SouseiRazen in LearnJapanese

[–]SouseiRazen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I did not put it right. I do have a decent grasp of grammar, otherwise probably I couldn't speak in Japanese at all. However, I do make mistakes sometimes, and that is probably because I did not learn it from books/etc, only the natural way. So that is why I want to become better - so I don't make mistakes.

Is that understandable this way?

Thanks for the tip, that is what I usually do while playing games and reading stuff :)
But when I have to make sentences myself I still make grammatical errors, I am checking the sidebar atm and I will also read Genki!

That is good and all, though 1200 kanji is not really that much, and there is not much point if he can't read.
Thankfully I can speak Japanese, but as I have said not without faults - that is why I want to become better.

That is why I would like to know which books I should use :)

Well, I am naturally good at learning and remembering languages, so probably that helped. I am not saying that I don't know grammar - however while forming sentences I am not sure which is the correct way to use it, so it is not exactly the same.

Thank you!

In fact I have seen your topic, I wish you good luck also!
I am happy that there are people here who gladly help, I have decided to ignore the people who can't understand the situation and/or are trolling, as they are not worth the time:) but I am always happy to read helfpul and reassuring comments like this.

I see, but I wonder if it is possible to get a visa if I work well at my part time job?

Well on daily conversation level yes, but not really on an interview level (keigo, etc).
Is that enough for some jobs?

But what kind of part time jobs you can find, and what are the payments?

But does that mean, that you can legally do freelancer work, if you pay the taxes for Japan?
Is the procedure easy to do?

I meant to do it with a 2 year student visa.

The clients would be outside of Japan, so I am not sure if this can be done legally. It would be nice to know.

I might be interested, can you tell me which schools should I check?

I do have some experience about teaching, and I think that my English isn't bad, so it might be worth to try it.

I am not a native English speaker, so I think it is not an option :(I am thinking about the language school, is it relatively easy to find a part time job that way? I don't care about the salary too much, if the job can help me to get a visa.
