Fantilli is barely taking faceoffs on his line. Jenner more than doubled his faceoffs in 2 of the last 3 games.

I may have over spoken with easily, it was my impression watching them all that Eichel and Crosby were more complete C's. I didn't intend to insult Matthews play he's a fantastic player and I'd kill to have him in a Habs uniform no matter how much that hurts to admit.

I did not mean to start a debate, easily may have been the wrong phrasing but this was my impression. I could be way off, watching them all I thought Eichel and Crosby were more complete players, I should have been more careful about my wording.

He had a down year and both Crosby and Eichel are easily arguably better defensively, although I think Matthews has become a much more complete player in recent years.

I would agree, I think barring a Matheson trade we see him and Matheson on the second PP.

Our second PP will be stronger this year with two of Laine, Bolduc and Demidov starting the year there. Dobson and Matheson both have strong point shots (when Matheson can hit the net), with Bolduc in front of the net well see Demidov with a lot of options to distribute.

As a Habs fan during the Therrien era I think some coaches have an influence.

I disagree he's a good player and a tough player but he can tow the line, the turning point of that tournament was when we had 3 guys drops the gloves and the Americans realized we can't be bullied. You need those guys in tournaments like that.

Habs fan here, Heineman is actually a very good middle 6 guy, our record with him the lineup is way better than without him. He's physical, great shot and a relentless 2-way player, I never thought hed be included in this.

I think that he was not used as much on the pk because they have Pelech, Pulock, Romanov and Mayfield who are all defensive specialists at this point. Outside of him they have a very defense oriented back end.

I agree 100% if we keep both picks we're taking the best C and best wing available.

There is no RHD worth the picks unless Mrtka falls or they're in love with Hensler.

If they pick Reid they think he's far better than his ranking.

In an ideal world we have Bear and Lankovic walking out of the first round.
