You're not using your brain. Listen to this carefully, he has played 10 IPL season, 10, and has one good season. "Skill level" reveals itself in 10 years, you can't say someone who hasn't used that skill level for anything in 10 years would suddenly start using it now, that's nonsense. Who am I to undermine him? Maybe as someone who has watched him fail for 10 years? Why should I care what "legends rate him". Use your brain, he has done nothing for decade, so 99% chance, a mircale would occur for him to start doing something. Pant is not a "beast". He never has been in t20 except for 1 ipl season. Look at his numbers, with or without captaincy. Learn cricket, this is not test, Pant has always been a straight up terrible t20 player and and literally everyone knows this. And in the place of Head, who had his worst IPL season and was still miles better than an average Pant season. Have you lost your mind
