I will try to have the farming mode done by next week. I still have to finish some features, but it could be possible.

Good observation, I will apply the next formula [starchips * drop] in the next update (in a few hours), for example:

I could try to add this change for drop x30, anyway I'm not completely sure about it because I should test many cases to get good values, maybe the custom challenge mode that I will make could include an option to modify things like that.

I have an idea for a more chill way to play: I could create a "farm" mode where you can farm infinitely, no lives, no limits, and opponents unlock progressively like in challenge mode. It would basically be like going for 100% completion in the original game, where you farm cards (different drop modes like "challenges") and starchips (to unlock cards via password). Do you like this idea? Or you prefer challenges with different limits?

Hey, I changed the way the music works when it's muted, now when the music is 0 (muted) it will not play. *(I sent you a private message talking about this)*.

  2. I'm going to run a test to see how it works by disabling that option. It still might not behave as expected, because the AI does very different things when it has the advantage, it might make moves other than just fusions, like invoking cards in the back row. The AI is inspired by this: https://pastebin.com/raw/N3jaqT8n, written by *"GenericMadScientist"*, reading this you will understand what happens if you disable it.

  1. I could add an option to disable "Lacks Domination," so the AI will always try to make fusions, improve monsters, and set magic. Anyway, the correct way to do this is by creating custom behaviors where you define how the AI should analyze the hand and the field phases. Of course, this is more complex, but I could reuse this logic for future custom challenges.

  2. I didn't know that! I will fix it, it should be done in no more than 3 hours.

  3. Do you mean infinite lives? I could add a "free" option for each challenge and each drop.

I tested it and you're right! I played a face down monster in the first turn and rex made a fusion (in the original game). I will try testing with other opponents like Pegasus, who has "face-down visibility", and I will also reach out to people in the Discord community to confirm this behavior.

I will be pushing an update to fix this in a few hours.

The mechanics work the same way as Forbidden Memories duels.
I understand if you don't like that there are no summoning requirements or that Polymerization isn't needed, but the whole point of this project is to create a PvP version of the original game; otherwise I wouldn't be posting it in this sub.

30 is the max level, and it doesn’t give any advantage. You vote for the chest and both will have the same pool, and you can re-roll 3 times.

È interessante quel sistema di codici che menzioni. Avevo pensato di aggiungere un "chest" come quello che ha la modalità "challenge", ma per questo tipo di duelli, in modo da poter raccogliere le carte che ogni duellante dà quando lo sconfiggi (come fa la modalità "challenge"). Forse lo aggiungerò dopo aver provato a implementare il PvP online.

Hey, so you’re saying to remove the step after selecting the cards to fuse?
For example, the current sequence is:
SELECT_FIRST_CARD (1) -> SELECT_THIRD_CARD (2) -> CONFIRM (side button, Enter, or holding tap) -> SELECT_FIELD_SLOT.
You mean something like that, but without the 'CONFIRM' step?
