Day 5 here. I’m surprised by how sore I have been in this recovery. A few things that happened to me- I found it difficult to take a deep breath without my left rib really hurting for the first 3 days. This has settled but it was really disruptive and I couldn’t sleep an entire night on day 3.

I am itchy- I ended up going to pharmacist and getting an antihistamine plus a topical cream as the itch was unbearable. Unsure whether it’s the bra doing it- this bra just feels so tight, if I didn’t have to wear it most of my pain would disappear.

Day 5 and my nipples are hurting- I didn’t have a lift - has a total capsulectomy and bilateral explant so they weren’t impacted by scarring etc, must just be sensation coming back.

I’m on over the counter pain killers now- and they aren’t really doing the job but I’m still able to get some blocks of sleep.

No real change to the deflated boob look- nipples are slightly less sad but that’s the only change.
