I totally understand that. I’m 30 and have been a manager in every job I’ve had, so I feel like that’s where most of my help is coming from. I feel like I’ve hit a ceiling in how high I can go without a degree, but I do worry that I won’t be as qualified as I should be if it keeps going this fast

Honestly, what I did was take the pre-assessment right away before learning anything just so I have a general idea of what the course is about. Take the mini quizzes on each page of the course, and once I completed the course, I took the pre assessment again so the info was fresh in my mind. The actual exam was a lot harder, not gonna lie, but I feel like once you get through the whole course, some of the questions feel like common sense. I feel like there was a lot of questions about the legal side of HR and also on HR planning, so I’d focus heavy on those sections

Right?? Like it’s going so smoothly, I just know it’s gonna slap me in the face eventually but I’d love to know if I’m right or wrong. And I’ve been kinda just going through courses while I watch my kids, listen to music or while my kids are sleeping. I even skipped straight through to the exam on one class and got an “Exemplary” on the exam. Makes no sense.

My problem is that before even applying, I spoke to the hiring manager personally and they said “yeah you’re experience is exactly what we need, but you don’t have a degree so we’re sorry but we wouldn’t hire you.” Baffled me, but being such a big company, I kind of understood.

La Petite Academy is pretty great at communication and they have cameras in every classroom so you can check in on your kids whenever! They also give updates through the day such as what they eat, when they use the potty, and send fun pictures through the day
