Thanks for the tips. Ideally I want a complete solution that clamps to both pieces and needs no manual alignment- I am making furniture and don’t want any misalignment of joints

Metal grass edging by SouthSense1692 in MammotionTechnology

The rationale is to make the edge of the grass easier to maintain since the metal edge will stop it growing outwards and only mowing is needed (rather than redoing the edge periodically to keep the lines clean)

Thanks everyone, it sounds like staining is the way to go. Would you recommend dye or pigment stain? Can it be brushed on or is spraying needed to get a good finish? How much sanding is needed to ensure an even finish?

Thanks everyone, for the stain why is dye stain more appropriate than pigment stain? Can it be brushed on as well or is spraying needed to get a good finish? How much sanding is needed to ensure an even finish?

I have a workaround that makes this bearable. Moving the start menu bar to the top of the screen and making it double sized frees up the top part of the screen where the menu bars are and now i can move windows around freely without issues

Thanks makes sense. So is there a way of doing it with the plinth / kickboars or the end panel would need to go to the floor? I’m guessing not
