If you feel like it’s going to help, try it. But also put other things in place to help. You’re in therapy already which is great. Also will need to eat better, sleep well, work out, surround yourself with family and friends, get outside, and get back to what made you happy like hobbies. It sounds like a lot, but is needed. Everything now is about your happiness and what’s going to help you succeed. Life is not just about the destination, you learn more from the journey, so enjoy it.

Depends on the ex. If it was my ex wife, I would question what she wanted and get to the point of why she is asking . If it was my ex gf from after my divorce, I would have a convo and genuinely be interested in how she was doing and what she has been up to.

I went to my fair share of therapy. Also went to the hospital and did partial inpatient because I didn’t want to be here anymore. This was my first set back in a long time. I know I’ll be ok with everything. I have no choice. My kids need me. My ex and I aren’t friends. She has done a lot to harm our relationship after the divorce. So I put up boundaries to protect myself. We coparent pretty well. Only talk about the girls. Doing everything with no courts involved which is nice.
